Nautilus said Sid Nayar has been appointed chief financial officer after a national search. Nayar was with Congoleum Corp., a manufacturer of residential and commercial flooring products.
Linda Nguyen, CEO of WorkForce Central, has joined the board of directors for Comprehensive Life Resources, formerly Comprehensive Mental Health. It provides behavioral health services in Tacoma and Pierce County.
Pacific Financial Corp., the holding company for Bank of the Pacific, said Douglas N. Biddle was named executive vice president and chief financial officer of Bank of the Pacific. Biddle will also serve as treasurer of the holding company succeeding Denise Portmann, who was recently promoted to President and CEO of the Bank.
The former head of the Alaska State Troopers will be the new police chief at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Keith Mallard will replace Sean McGee, who retired last spring. Mallard has 19 years of law enforcement experience.



Derek Benson joined PSF Mechanical as project executive in the Special Projects Tenant Improvements Department, Christina Rose joined as bookkeeper and contracts administrator in the Service Department, and Peter Martynovych joined as VCM plumbing and piping detailer in the Virtual Construction Modeling Department. Benson has been in the industry for nearly 30 years, spending the last 10 years in project management, design, estimating and sales. Rose holds associate's degrees in both accounting and business, and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting from Western Governors University. Martynovych has 20 years of industry experience and holds a degree in HVAC and piping from North Seattle Community College.

Skanska USA promoted Tony Taddeo to senior vice president and general manager of Skanska USA Civil in the Northwest. In his new role, Taddeo is overseeing all civil construction operations in the Northwest and Northern California. He has been with Skanska for more than 27 years, previously as senior vice president of estimating for Skanska Koch, which specializes in bridges and structural steel. He holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the City College of New York.
Oak Harbor-based Blue Mountain Electric was named 2013 Subcontractor of the Year by Washington Patriot Construction. The veteran-owned subcontractor worked on several Washington Patriot projects, including energy upgrades at a Bremerton barracks, a Whidbey Island airfield and a naval hospital security upgrade.

KCTS Television said Rob Dunlop, who has been serving as interim president/CEO, has accepted the position of president/CEO. He comes to KCTS 9 from Fisher Communications, where he held a range of positions, most recently executive vice president and chief operating officer.
The Washington Association of Wine Grape Growers announced several awards: Grower of the Year: Rick Hamman, viticulture manager for Hogue Ranches; Industry Service: Leo Garcia and Francisco Sarmiento of Wenatchee Valley College; Lifetime Achievement: Myles Anderson, part owner and founder of Walla Walla Vintners; and Restaurant Appreciation: Canlis.
