Emerson Hilton and Jay Willis, two experienced associates, have joined Riddell Williams law firm in Seattle. Hilton joins the environmental practice with over four years of experience. He was a partner at a law firm in Michigan. Willis joins the environmental group after working as an associate at K&L Gates in Washington, D.C.

Aaron P. Brecher has joined Lane Powell as an attorney in the litigation practice group. He was a summer associate with Lane Powell and worked as a law clerk.
Nicole Potebnya has joined Phillips Burgess law firm as a partner, with nearly a decade of experience on contractual issues, commercial leases and sales contracts, and advising on land use and permitting. She has worked as in-house counsel and managing real estate broker for The Rants Group, a Thurston County commercial real estate and development firm. The law firm has offices in Olympia and Tacoma.






General contractor Schuchart promoted Travis Harth to senior project manager; and hired Matt Motland and Andrew Anderson as assistant project managers, Brian Ondich as superintendent, Samantha Tobin as human resources coordinator and Bill Foster as project manager. Harth works in the Tenant Improvement Division. Motland works in the Building Division and holds a bachelor's degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Washington. Anderson works in the Tenant Improvement Division and holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering technology from Central Washington University. Ondich works in the Industrial Division. Tobin holds a bachelor's degree in anthropology with a minor in sociology from Willamette University. Foster works in the Industrial Division and holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from CWU.

The Construction Industry Training Council of Washington has a new board of trustees that will serve through 2017. Officers are: Mike Price of Alegis Construction, chair; Dave Cunningham of Cunningham Enterprises, vice chair; Adam Pinsky of S.M.E. Inc. of Seattle, treasurer; and Keith Stewart of Stewart Plumbing, secretary. Other board members are David McFerran of Merit Mechanical (immediate past chair), Jason Preuit of W.G. Clark Construction Co., Shawn Rhode of Rafn Co. and Giovanni Migliaccio of the University of Washington. CITC says about 17 percent of the current construction workforce is retiring over the next five years.

Lighthouse eDiscovery, a technology-enabled ediscovery services and consulting firm, said Martin Carey is the new managing director of Europe. He has managed large corporate workflow and document management systems, and was a partner at Proven Legal Technologies.
Atigeo, a technology company in Bellevue, named Alejandro Cabrera as chief marketing officer. He was vice president of corporate marketing, brand and communication for Bellevue-based Outerwall.
Socrata, a software provider for data-driven digital government, named Eric Eden chief marketing officer. Eden has more than two decades of experience in technology marketing and will be based in the Washington, D.C., office.
