Timber Ridge at Talus in Issaquah named Dr. Gurinder Sahi medical director and Maureen Manlosa nursing director. Dr. Sahi has been practicing medicine for 20 years and was with Emerald Heights in Redmond. Manlosa has practiced nursing for 15 years and been with Timber Ridge since 2009 as assistant director of nursing. A second phase at Timber Ridge is under construction.

Stokes Lawrence said Brian Cadousteau has joined the firm as an associate in the business practice, focusing on corporate and securities law for high-growth and startup companies. He was an associate attorney in the Seattle office of Deloitte, and a judicial extern for Hon. Ricardo Martinez with the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.

CollinsWoerman, a Seattle architecture, design and planning firm, hired architect Hugh Campbell on the health care team. In his 35-year career, Campbell has designed and planned hospitals, specialty care centers, and research and outpatient facilities, and was chief of architecture and engineering for New York City Department of Health. His work includes Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital in Vancouver.

In Seattle, Swenson Say Faget promoted structural engineers Joe Dixon and Kevin Winner to senior project manager and project engineer, respectively. Dixon rejoined the firm in 2012 after working there previously. His portfolio includes housing, commercial and civic projects, and he is now working on a three-story office building in Fremont. Winner was hired 2013 and is working on Stelmakh Townhouses in Everett. Swenson Say Faget is a structural engineering firm, with an office also in Tacoma.

In the Olympia office, HDR hired Charles Summers as a CAD technician and Trent Eakin as a project management risk analyst. In Bellevue, it hired Danny Applegate as a water/wastewater project manager, Rosalin Delos Santos as an electrical engineer, Mary Ann Olson as a traffic engineer, Mclane Mahon as a project accountant and Peter Teague as a transportation engineer. In Seattle, HDR hired Sim Brubaker as a resident engineer and Dan Moore as a civil engineer. Summers has NASSCO certifications in pipeline, manhole, and lateral assessment; confined entry space; sediment and erosion control. Eakin worked for heavy civil contractors on bridge and highway projects for six years. Applegate has over 15 years of experience in municipal engineering focusing on water and wastewater distribution and conveyance systems. Delos Santos has over 15 years of experience in electrical design engineering and has worked on water and wastewater treatment plants, tunnel influent pump stations and bridges and hanger door projects. Olson has worked in transportation/traffic engineering. Mahon has worked in aerospace, inventory control, sales and customer relations. Teague holds a bachelor's in civil engineering from Oregon State University, and interned with Salem Public Works Department. Brubaker has been a resident engineer/construction engineer for nearly 30 years, 16 with HDR. He has worked on transportation projects, including in Russia, and is working on Sound Transit East Link. Moore has eight years of experience on industrial, residential and commercial projects. HDR is an Omaha-based architectural, engineering and consulting firm.

Seattle-based Notkin Mechanical Engineers hired Elizabeth Garras, Brandon Black and Yoora Byeon as mechanical designers. Garras, an engineer in training, supports federal and military projects. She interned at Notkin and was an HVAC design engineer at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. She holds a bachelor's in mechanical engineering from Washington State University. Black is an engineer in training. He has a background in hydronic heating and cooling systems and a bachelor's in mechanical engineering from Wright State University. Byeon holds a bachelor's in mechanical engineering from Eastern Washington University. Black and Byeon support health care projects.

University of Puget Sound Board named Isiaah Crawford, Ph.D., provost of Seattle University, as president-elect of UPS. Crawford will become the university's 14th president July 1, succeeding Ronald R. Thomas. Crawford is a clinical psychologist and taught at Loyola University Chicago before becoming provost at SU in 2008.

David Eckroth has been named CEO-elect at Parker, Smith & Feek and will assume those duties July 1, 2017. He joined the firm in 1992 and has been a principal since 1996. He is senior vice president and managing partner of the Anchorage office, and will relocate to the Seattle area.

Bellevue-based software company Envelop VR hired Jeff Hansen as vice president of business development. He will help customers use virtual reality to improve work flow, visualize data and develop products.

In Tacoma, Adolfson & Peterson Construction named Kris Beason vice president and general manager for its Pacific Northwest region. Beason has been in the construction industry for nearly 30 years, and has held executive positions for the past 10 years. She has extensive experience with commercial, LEED and special projects, and is involved with the local chapters of CREW, DBIA, NAIOP and ULI.

Bellevue-based Express Construction Co. promoted Chuck Clegern to president and Jason Haggard to CFO, and hired Eric Featherstone as business development manager. Clegern began working with Express chairman Dave Lowry in 1982 as a project manager at SDL Corp. Lowry was president of SDL until he sold the company in 1994 to McCarthy Brothers Construction and formed Express. Clegern worked with McCarthy until 1997, and then Unimark General Contractors and DKA before joining Express in 2012. Haggard joined Express just over a year ago as controller. Express opened a Seattle office in September to support work in the downtown core.

Also, safety manager Pete Dalton transferred from Swinerton's San Diego office. Hall is a fourth generation carpenter who has worked on historical remodels, resorts and high rises. Flanders has three years of construction experience, and holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from Washington State University. Dieterich spent the last eight years in the National Guard and Army. He is working in Swinerton's estimating department. O'Brien has nearly 10 years of experience as a surveyor, foreman and project engineer. He holds a certificate in construction management from the University of Washington and an associate's degree from Bellevue College. Ellingson has more than 10 years of industry experience. Beeler has built school, mid-rise and multifamily projects. Sparks previously worked as a field engineer, superintendent and assistant project manager. Crisafulli ran his own contracting firm for 35 years. Dalton has been with Swinerton since 2011.

Middleton previously worked in private practice, and as assistant attorney general representing the state departments of Labor & Industries and Social and Health Services. He is supporting MCA members in labor relations, legislative activities, and state and federal regulatory matters.
