In Seattle, Integrus Architecture promoted J. Irons to PK12 business development and marketing manager. In Spokane, it promoted Marcine Herron to director, business development and marketing, and Christine Sutor to marketing specialist, and hired Tina Paras as a higher education business development and marketing specialist. Irons joined the firm in 2015 as an architect working on project leadership, sustainable design and business development. He leads business development and supports the firm's PK12 leaders. Herron joined Integrus in 2005, and has managed its marketing and business development team since 2009. She focuses on corporate brand/image strategy and marketing communications, strategic planning and business development. Sutor does corporate marketing, social media, and graphic layout and interview preparation for project pursuits. Paras leads business development initiatives and supports higher education efforts. She has an MBA from Eastern Washington University and a bachelor's in psychology from Washington State University. Integrus provides architectural, planning, interior design, structural engineering and security design services.

In Seattle, NAC Architecture hired Asef Zadehgol as an electrical engineer and Erin Drake as office coordinator. Zadehgol was a senior electrical designer at Sazan Group. Prior to that, he was a researcher for Cork Institute of Technology in Ireland, exploring smart building technology. Drake worked at Alki Mail, a business center and coffee shop, and holds a bachelor's in philosophy from Whitman College. NAC provides planning, design, engineering, and capital facilities consulting.

At its Seattle headquarters, Harris Group hired Ron Thirtyacre as a senior project manager and Susan Rodriguez as the human resources manager. Thirtyacre has spent 30 years directing teams of engineers, programmers, and technicians doing industrial controls projects in the Northwest. Rodriguez has been a human resources manager at a San Diego engineering firm and has a business background. Harris is a multidiscipline engineering consulting firm with offices throughout the U.S.

Tacoma-based Erickson McGovern Architects hired Ernesto Dominguez as an architectural designer and Scott Treber as a CAD technician. Dominguez has experience managing architectural and construction projects, and will work on the Performing Arts Center at Bonney Lake High School. Treber will support projects, including for White River school district and Western State Hospital. The firm provides architectural services with a K-12 education focus.

In Portland, Environmental Science Associates hired Joe Richards as a senior civil and water resources engineer and project manager. He has over 20 years of experience and his clients have included the city of Portland. His recent work includes Luther Road Habitat Restoration in Portland. ESA is a West Coast-based environmental planning and design firm.

Spokane-based Bernardo|Wills Architects hired Lauren Welsh as an interior designer and Dillon M. Reese as a BIM/CAD technician. Welsh is working on new bank branches in eastern Washington. She previously worked at Uptic Studios. Reese is supporting the North Spokane Library remodel. He was with Builders FirstSource/ProBuild. Bernardo|Wills provides architecture, interior design, landscape architecture and master planning.

Renton-based Metrix Engineers hired Kyle Koon and Ryan Lockwood as mechanical engineers. Koon is a 2016 graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is supporting design of Grant Street Elementary School in Port Townsend. Lockwood is a 2016 graduate of the University of Washington and is supporting design of Madrona K-8 School in Edmonds. Metrix is a mechanical engineering consulting firm.

Chase Communications

Chase Communications, a public relations and marketing communications firm with headquarters in San Francisco and Washington, D.C, said it has hired a former special events marketing coordinator, Gabrielle Nadel, and the former deputy campaign manager for San Franciscans For Real Housing Solutions, Daniel Baldocchi. Nadel is based in D.C., and is an account manager and digital strategist. Baldocchi will work in the San Francisco office as account coordinator.

Pierce County

Incoming Pierce County Executive Bruce Dammeier has named his executive team: Dan Grimm, chief operating officer, served two terms as state treasurer; Don Anderson, senior counsel/military liaison and veterans services; Brian Hardtke, director of policy and deputy counsel; Carol Mitchell, director of justice services and special projects; Chris Cooley, special assistant for budget and finance/special projects; and Sarah Pollock, director of constituent service.

Milgard Windows & Doors

For the fourth year in a row, employees of Milgard Windows & Doors helped about 150 kids at the Al Davies branch of the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound. Milgard volunteers bought and wrapped gifts, and interacted with the kids through sports, crafts, a photo booth and a video game truck. Tacoma-based Milgard is a Masco company.
