Washington Trust Bank

Spokane-based Washington Trust Bank promoted Kevin Blair to president of the Seattle/Bellevue market and Stu Linscott to senior vice president and team leader of the Bellevue Commercial team. Blair joined the bank in 2004 and was most recently commercial team leader for the Seattle office, working with privately held companies and high-net-worth individuals. Linscott has 15 years of commercial banking experience. His clients include contractors, professional service providers and commercial real estate developers.

Millennial Wealth

A new financial planning firm targeting young tech professionals has opened in Seattle. Founded by Chad Rixse and Levi Sanchez, Millennial Wealth also focuses on generations X and Y. Rixse and Sanchez previously worked as financial advisors at large bank-run wealth management firms. They are members of XY Planning Network, which represents fee-only financial planners for younger generations.

Susan Lowance joined Seattle-based LMN Architects as a principal to help support it higher education work and other projects. Lowance has over 20 years of experience in the programming, planning and design of higher education projects, focused on business education and research facilities. Prior to joining LMN, she was a director with Kohn Pedersen Fox in New York City where her projects included New York University's new portal campus in Shanghai.

Seattle-based MLA Engineering hired Aaron Eversman as a senior structural engineer and Mike Orloff as an engineer-in-training. Eversman has over 12 years of design experience in the commercial, health care, oil and gas, renewable energy, military, education and residential markets. Orloff is working on a master's in structural engineering at the University of Washington. MLA is a structural engineering firm.

Seattle-based SHKS Architects promoted Hannah Allender, Tyrel Sullivan and Pia Westen to associate. Allender does historic rehabilitation projects, including Atrium Kitchen at Pike Place Market. Sullivan is a project architect who focuses on rehabilitating higher education facilities, including renovation of the University of Washington Portage Bay Auditorium for use as a ‘brain studio' by the Institute for Learning & Brain Sciences. Westen is a project architect who works on renovation of public facilities. She is administering construction for expansion of Seattle Fire Station #31. SHKS designs buildings and sites.

In Lynnwood, Stantec hired Norm Brown as a senior mechanical engineer, Finn Jakobsen as a mechanical project manager and Vince Rolle as information communication technology principal. Brown has 37 years of experience, with projects that include the Marion Oliver McCaw Hall renovation. Jakobsen has over 33 years of experience on health care, laboratory, higher education and research facilities in the Northwest. He is working on Lakefront Blocks tenant improvements in Seattle. Rolle has 20 years of ICT, health care and project and program management experience, most recently as a program director at a major health care organization in the Puget Sound region. He is working on the SeaTac International Airport International Arrivals Facility. In the Puget Sound region, Stantec provides engineering and specialty design services for buildings, transportation, water, waterpower and dams, and environmental services projects.

Crocker has 20 years of experience, specializing in education, health care, and private industry. Hammer has 15 years of experience, specializing in fire stations, waterfront and federal/military markets. Llanes has 12 years of experience and will guide the firm's marketing direction. McKeever will support roadway clients. Reid Middleton provides structural and civil engineering, land surveying and permitting services.

In Federal Way, BergerABAM hired Marcia Medina as a project manager. Medina has over 16 years of civil engineering experience. She manages a reservoir retaining wall project for U.S. Marine Corps' Base Camp Pendleton in California. BergerABAM provides civil and structural engineering, architecture, land use planning, natural resources, public involvement, landscape architecture, construction management and support, and underwater inspection services.

Freed is founder of Organic Architect, and has designed deep green projects and LEED certified and net zero buildings. He is a LEED fellow of the U.S. Green Building Council. Morrison Hershfield is a multi-disciplinary engineering firm.
