In Seattle, global architecture, planning and design firm CallisonRTKL promoted specialty retail sector leaders Lucy Baraquio and Michelle McCormick to vice president. Baraquio has an international background in commercial design and retail brand implementation. She is an architect with over 20 years of experience who focuses on strategic development in the global market. McCormick directs national retail design initiatives for international consumer brands. She has over 25 years in the industry and provides strategic development for the practice and supervises the retail design team. She oversees new client initiatives and daily operations.

Seattle-based Rolluda Architects hired Garriy Krigel as a project architect, and Andreas Siluri and Jorge Flores as project designers. Krigel has a master of science degree from Belarus National Polytechnic Academy's School of Architecture in Minsk. His work includes design-build, international design, and energy-saving and modular design for residential projects. He is working on repurposing classrooms for Seattle Public Schools. Siluri has an MBA from National University and a master's in architecture from the University of Idaho. His work includes residential, commercial, retail, and medical tenant improvements. He is working on Sound Transit's Operations and Maintenance Facility East project. Flores is a Gates' Millennium Scholar who earned his bachelor of architecture at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. He is working on Filipino Community Village, a 95-unit affordable housing facility for seniors in Seattle.

Ryan Companies US relocated architect Chase Prepula to its Northwest Region in the Kirkland office. He spent five years with Ryan A + E in its North Region in Minneapolis, with work that included Edition Residences luxury apartments. Ryan Companies US services include developer, architect, capital investment consultant, builder and real estate manager.

Cascade Design Collaborative, a Seattle landscape architecture and urban design firm, expanded its ownership and leadership team to include new principals Jennifer Mundee and Lisa Corry, honoring the landscape architects' contributions to Cascade's public realm planning and design projects. Mundee was hired almost 20 years ago, and leads urban design and educational campus projects, from early learning to high school. Corry has over 25 years of experience in landscape architecture and urban design, and was hired three years ago. Her projects include civic facilities, parks, campuses, mixed-use developments, green stormwater infrastructure, and transportation facilities.

In Bellevue, Freiheit Architecture hired Nicole Harter as an architectural designer, Ricardo Rodriguez as a project manager and Wellington Arantes as a senior interior designer. Harter has over eight years of experience in architecture, and is working on office buildings and tenant improvements. Rodriguez has over 20 years of experience, including five in project management. He is working on commercial projects, mentoring architectural staff and providing technical experience across teams. Arantes has over 18 years of experience in various disciplines of design. He is working on medical and dental office tenant improvements. Freiheit is a commercial architecture and interior design firm.

DCI Engineers

Grant

DCI Engineers, a civil and structural consulting engineering firm, promoted Jarrett Grant to project manager in its Seattle civil department. Grant is leading the Seattle Center arena renovation and 700 Dexter projects.

AHBL promoted Andrea Sauter to project manager in Seattle, and civil engineers Adam Braun and Nick Rheaume to project manager in Tacoma. Sauter is a structural engineer with 14 years of experience, including 10 with AHBL. She will be structural project manager for Boze Elementary in Tacoma. Braun has been with the Tacoma office since 2012. He is working on the Tacoma Convention Center Hotel. Rheaume has 13 years of experience on local school district projects, including Emerald Hills Elementary in Bonney Lake.

Family Law CASA

Attorney Natalie Reber was hired as executive director at Family Law CASA. Reber has over 15 years of experience as an executive director, most recently with Hospitality House, an emergency shelter for single homeless women. Seattle-based Family Law Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is a nonprofit that focuses on the needs of children in high-risk custody cases.

Angel of the Winds Arena

Spectra Venue Management, operator of Angel of the Winds Arena, appointed Corey Margolis as general manager of the facility. Margolis relocated to Everett from Spectra's Budweiser Gardens in Ontario, Canada, where he was assistant general manager. He started his career as a stage hand and audio engineer while attending the University of Southern California.

Auction of Washington Wines

Stein Kruse is joining the board of directors of Seattle-based Auction of Washington Wines. Kruse is group CEO of Holland America Group and Carnival UK in Seattle. AWW holds several wine-themed charity events a year to benefit uncompensated care at Seattle Children's.
