Bank of America Merrill Lynch Global Commercial Banking hired Karen Winger Vineyard as market executive for the Pacific Northwest and Canada. Vineyard has 27 years of experience in banking and business development throughout the region.
Tacoma advertising and communications firm JayRay promoted Genny Boots from intern to assistant advisor. Boots also was an intern at The News Tribune in Tacoma, social media manager for a nonprofit in Prague and general manager of the student TV station at Pacific Lutheran University.
In Bellevue, Cannabis Investment Network named Maliz Beams to its advisory board. Beams served as a U.S. State Department counselor and was CEO of Voya Financial Retirement Solutions.
Adrienne Quinn, director of King County's Department of Community and Human Services, has accepted a job as distinguished practitioner at the University of Washington's Evans School of Public Policy & Governance. Quinn led the Best Starts for Kids initiative, created a system to measure the performance of service providers, and launched the Homeless Management Information System. Her last day will be Nov. 1.

In Seattle, OAC Services promoted Christopher Heger to senior associate and chief innovation officer, Steve Murakami to senior associate, Roland Bautista to office manager, Shannon Chang to assistant project manager, Ashley Johnson to special projects manager, and Melissa Teichman, Phil Baker and Kerry May to associate. In Everett, the firm promoted Glen Lyons to assistant project manager. In Olympia, it promoted Anjanet Collins to project manager and Cynthia Balzarini to project controls specialist. Heger will be in charge of introducing innovation and integrating technology into services, practices, markets and products. He has nearly 30 years of experience, including lean methodologies and construction management. Murakami has more than 20 years of experience that includes leadership of the Lake Washington School District bond program. Bautista has done operations and administrative functions, including OAC's recent headquarters move from South Lake Union to Sodo. Chang has over 10 years of experience, including leading high-tech and commercial projects. Johnson has over 10 years of experience with administrative services and was operations coordinator. She will continue to lead major special operations and oversee projects. Teichman just led a major gaming company's headquarters TI project and contributed to work at Evergreen Hospital and Washington State University. She has over 15 years of experience, including in health care and high-tech facilities. Baker has more than 15 years of experience guiding high-tech projects for Northwest clients, and leading commercial tenant improvements, renovations, and upgrades to campuses. He is project lead for a number of high-tech projects on the Eastside. May is on the forensic architecture and engineering team. He has over a decade of experience in building enclosure design, architecture, sustainable solutions, and integrating forensic assessments with construction management, and leads residential, commercial and municipal projects. He is providing building enclosure services for Snohomish County, Pierce College and Auburn School District. Lyons is leading several municipal projects in the north Puget Sound region, including Washington State University North Puget Sound Academic Center in Everett. Collins has over a decade of experience that includes work with Centralia School District and WSU. Balzarini has over 16 years of experience and a background in K-12 construction. She has led projects for Federal Way, Tahoma and South Kitsap school districts.



Bellevue-based Baylis Architects hired Ramiro Zamarripa as a job captain and Joe Molina as a project manager. Staff member Shilpa Karve obtained a Washington architectural license. Zamarripa is in the multifamily studio. He has 15 years of experience and is working on a mixed-use project in Bellevue's Spring District and a mixed-use studio for artists in Edmonds. Molina is in the single-family studio. He has 20 years of experience and is working on custom homes in Bellevue. Karve was hired 13 years ago and has experience on a variety of project types. She is working on mixed-use apartment buildings. Baylis provides architecture, interior design, planning, land-use processing and project and team management.

Seattle-based Stepherson & Associates Communications hired Colleen Toomey as an associate. Toomey is leading outreach on projects for the Washington State Department of Transportation, King County and Kaiser Permanente. She has eight years of communications experience and a master of public administration from the University of Washington Evans School of Public Policy & Governance. Stepherson provides outreach and communications for public infrastructure projects in Washington.
Seattle-based Coinme, a crypto financial services and blockchain company, appointed Chris Roling as CFO. Roling has more than 30 years of executive-level experience. He was a partner at Ernst & Young in Hong Kong, where he handled mergers and acquisitions, and private equity initiatives. He succeeds Steve Olson, who has been CFO since 2014.
Barbara Bennett joined the board of West Monroe Partners, a Chicago-based business and technology consultant with an office in Seattle. Bennett was president and COO of Vulcan, executive vice president and CFO of Digital First Media, and CFO for the U.S. EPA.
Somali Health Board in Seattle won the eighth annual Executive's Award for Community Resilience from King County Executive Dow Constantine. The award is given to volunteer organizations that prepare for and respond to emergencies. Dr. Ahmed Ali is executive director of Somali Health Board.
