Minuteman Press

Renee Mansour is the newest member of Minuteman Press International President's Million-Dollar Circle. Mansour owns the Minuteman Press print franchise in Bend, Oregon. The award goes to franchisees that have yearly gross sales of at least $1 million. Mansour's store also was named as one of Central Oregon's top 20 fastest growing companies for the past two years.

Kymeta

Redmond-based mobile communications network company Kymeta appointed Gene Renuart and Matt Grob as senior advisors to its board. Renuart is founder and president of The Renuart Group and spent nearly 40 years in the Air Force, lastly as commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command. Grob is chief technology officer at Xcom Labs. Prior to that, he was executive vice president and CTO at Qualcomm.

Omnidian

Seattle-based Omnidian acquired the commercial solar operations and maintenance business of Hoboken, New Jersey-based PV Pros. The deal increases Omnidian's oversight of solar power to 1.3 gigawatts across 200,000 systems. Omnidian provides residential and commercial solar system performance plans and cash-back energy guarantees.

Ransom Wine Co. & Distillery

Denver-based Integrated Beverage Group acquired Ransom Wine Co. & Distillery in Oregon's Willamette Valley. The deal includes Ransom's McMinnville tasting room. Financial terms were not disclosed. Ransom founder Tad Seestedt is staying with IBG as the master distiller. Ransom produces wine, vermouth, grappa, whiskey and gin.

Zonar

Seattle-based fleet tracking technology company Zonar is teaming with BusPatrol to offer free stop-arm enforcement systems to school districts in states that approve stop-arm camera programs on school buses. The systems are funded through fines incurred by motorists who don't stop when a school bus deploys its stop arm. BusPatrol develops stop-arm enforcement programs.

Intentional Futures

Seattle-based strategy and design firm Intentional Futures hired Victoria Burwell as president. Burwell has over 25 years of leadership, management and marketing experience with Fortune 500 companies, startups and consulting firms. Most recently, she co-founded Equinauts, a software and analytics company. Prior to that, she was a senior vice president at McGraw-Hill.

Gateway First Bank

Oklahoma-based Gateway First Bank promoted Jake Carlisle to regional vice president of Pacific Northwest operations, where he oversees all offices in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Utah. Carlisle joined Gateway in 2016 as an area manager in Vancouver. He has 18 years of experience in the mortgage industry.

UBS Private Wealth Management

Forbes ranked Michael Matthews of UBS Private Wealth Management as the top financial adviser in Washington on its list of best-in-state wealth advisers for 2020. This is the third year that Matthews has been on the list. He is a managing director and senior portfolio manager at the Bellevue UBS office.

Vacasa

Portland vacation rental management company Vacasa acquired Redwood Coast Vacation Rentals of McKinleyville, California. The deal added 125 rental homes to Vacasa's California inventory, which now is nearly 1,700 homes. Vacasa hired Redwood Coast's 22 employees, including former owner Mike Reinman, who now is a community manager.

Molina Healthcare

Molina Healthcare of Washington is temporarily transitioning its health plan staff to remote status. This step is being taken to prevent potential exposure of Molina employees to the coronavirus. It affects operations in Bothell, Spokane, Vancouver and Wenatchee. Molina's MyHealth Everett primary care clinic will remain fully staffed. The transition is expected to remain in effect until at least March 31.

MainStreet opens Bothell apartments

MainStreet Property Group has opened The Pop in Bothell. The five-story, 118-unit building was designed by GGLO and built by MainStreet affiliate GenCap Construction. Work began in mid-2018. The Pop is named for late local football coach Harold “Pop” Keeney. It's targeting LEED Gold certification, with green features including low-VOC paint, Energy Star appliances and LED lighting. MainStreet says The Pop, at 9634 Thorsk St., is the fifth new mixed-use project downtown, where the city is encouraging more density. Of the building's 12,500 square feet of commercial space, the lead tenant is Birch Tree Academy, a STEM-based preschool.

Gantry secures $40M for A&D Building

Gantry announced the recent $40 million loan to the developers of the renovated Ainsworth & Dunn Building and new companion 10 Clay St. apartments. Gantry's Mike Taylor and Mike Wood arranged the 13.5-year term financing from Principal Global Investors. Taylor said in a statement, “We were able to get the lenders comfortable with this deal because of the strong sponsor, the quality of the project and the track record of co-working firm Spaces, which occupies space in the office A&D Building.” That landmarked former warehouse is at 2815 Elliott Ave. Weinstein A+U designed the renovation and addition, plus the 62-unit apartment building. Walsh Construction Co. was the contractor, and Meriwether Partners was the developer. Gantry recently acquired the commercial mortgage banking division of Norris, Beggs & Simpson, with Wood and others joining its Seattle office.

NorthMarq lands $19M for Sumner units

NorthMarq announced that its Bob Spiro and Scott Moline have secured almost $19.5 million in financing for The Main Apartments + Lofts. The 108-unit community opened in November at 15367 Main St. E. in Sumner. Tarragon was the developer and general contractor for the seven-building complex, which also includes about 1,600 square feet of retail. It was designed by Tiscareno Associates.

Weidner receives lifetime honor

Dean Weidner, the founder in 1977 of Weidner Apartment Homes, just received a lifetime achievement award from the Washington Multi-Family Housing Association. His firm now has a portfolio with about 280 properties over 56,000 units in the U.S. and Canada, making it the nation's 15th-largest multifamily operator. The company is based in Kirkland.
