The old 32,000-square-foot Toyota of Kirkland showroom and service center at 12612 N.E. 124th St. has been transformed into the new Volkswagen of Kirkland.
Work included new columns, steel joists and a metal deck structure. Two Nanawall doors were added to bring cars into the showroom.
The building also got a tile service drive, new facade and metal siding.
A new electrical system was added, along with window systems to bring the building up to current energy code.
