Mercer International to pay $50M for Katerra's Spokane CLT factory

The $150 million factory began limited production in July 2019.

Mercer International announced last week that it had received approval from a bankruptcy court to buy Katerra’s cross-laminated timber factory in the Spokane Valley for $50 million. In a news release, Mercer said the sale is scheduled to occur shortly.
