Des Moines is on a roll.
Last week, the Waterland City's mayor, Dave Kaplan, made a splash at a chamber of commerce lunch when he said the Port of Seattle is getting ready to announce a tenant for a third of the Des Moines Creek Business Park. The park is planned for a 90-acre site south of Sea-Tac Airport. City officials envision “a thriving center for trade-related activity.”
