Real Estate Buzz: MainStreet Property now a contractor too

MainStreet Property Group has been active as an apartment developer on the Eastside, and now it has started its own construction company.
The Kirkland-based developer started GenCap Construction Corp. to do multifamily, retail and tenant improvements. GenCap will be the general contractor for The Spencer 68, a mixed-use complex on 68th Avenue just off Bothell Way in downtown Kenmore. MainStreet President Kelly Price said construction will likely begin in May.
