The solitary holdout on the block being developed by Skanska for its 2+U office tower is the Diller Hotel building, at 1216 First Ave.
The Samis Foundation owns the rest of the block, which is bounded by First and Second avenues and University and Seneca streets, and has granted Skanska a 99-year ground lease.
