On the Block: University Temple picks ACC to partner on U District high rise — with a church
University Temple United Methodist Church announced in July that it would sell and raze its old property at 1415 N.E. 43rd St.
The plan was to partner with a developer, to be selected by September, on a new high rise that would include worship and administrative space. The July plan also included the nearby University Lutheran Church, which also intends to sell, but it has dropped out of the co-op plan.
