On the Block: You can't spell 2020 without the R-word
It was more than a bit cheeky and misleading for NAIOP to label its November breakfast meeting the “Battle of the Economists,” since the good-natured duel elicited not a drop of blood. (Though I did get red jam on my sweater sleeve while reaching for the coffee, so some damage was inflicted.)
On hand at the Hyatt Olive 8 were Kidder Mathews' Dylan Simon to interrogate Zillow senior economist Skylar Olsen and Windermere Real Estate chief economist Matthew Gardner. All three participants have their jocular shtick down pat; and all three were in a jesting mood about 2020 and the possible slowdown ahead.
