SALT LAKE CITY – Some folks are taking the money and running – for about 10 days anyway.
Residents who have found renters for their homes and condominiums for the upcoming Olympic Games have chosen to swap the chance of being close to world-class athletes for television viewing in another locale. That’s because they are being paid handsomely for their homes - $700 a night in some cases - and they are not required to tell Uncle Sam how much visitors paid to stay.
