There’s often an inaccurate perception of seniors. Generally, if a member of that group has held a steady job for the past decade, then that person is considered flush in home equity.
Not everybody fits the mold. Just ask Robert Williams. The former Boeing Co. employee, 63, served the company for more than 10 years before becoming one of the thousands of workers who recently received a lay-off notice from the aerospace giant.
