Not long ago, obtaining property information from any Western Washington jurisdiction often depended upon the mood of the person answering the telephone. Some counties were consistently terrific, others difficult at best.
Sure . . . the best method was to charge down to the county assessor’s or treasurer’s office, crank up the tax parcel numbers and get comfortable for a morning of research. But what if you didn’t have a morning to dedicate to travel time and hard-copy investigation?
