Everyone at the dinner table – all six of us - was at least 50 years old. All of the guests were stunned and surprised by the china and silver place settings.
I had not seen the stuff in years, nor had an idea we had enough of the finery to accommodate six persons. Did the occasion – a brainstorming session geared to exploring how to celebrate our sons’ high-school graduation – really call for pulling out all the stops?
