Windermere Real Estate has added four new people to Seattle-area offices. Larry Priest is new to the Renton office as director of commercial services. He has 18 years' experience in Puget Sound commercial markets, most recently with Coldwell Banker, Danforth Commercial. Jamee Rakus and John Enger have joined the West Seattle-Fauntleroy office as sales agents. And Dana Johnston is the new agent in the Queen Anne office. Also at Windermere, the fifth annual Windermere Symposium will attract more than 2,000 of the company's associates to Meydenbauer Center on July 22 and 23. The symposium is Windermere's premier educational event, featuring nationally known speakers, 25 educational sessions and a trade show.
John L. Scott Real Estate Network has added hired new agents across the Northwest. In the Seattle area, Cynthia Morriss and Janice Peterson have joined the Bellevue South office. Gerda Franc, Harry Shepperton and Kelly Spadafore are new in the Issaquah-Eastside office. Jim Eagle and Len Eng have joined the Kent office, while Brian Henry and Kathy Ogle are new to Kirkland. Diane Anderson is the newcomer in the Laurelhurst office. In Redmond, Colin Hain-Davidson and Howard McMillen are new. And Heather Clemons is the new agent in Renton.

Paul V. McCarthy has joined the law firm of Lane Powell Spears Lubersky in the Seattle office as counsel to the firm and will concentrate his practice in the areas of real estate, commercial transactions, trust and estate administration issues, and banking law and regulations.

Joe Michalec has been promoted to project safety coordinator at Lease Crutcher Lewis. He has been assigned to the upcoming Cedar Court office project in Redmond. In addition, the company announced Brian Clark and Jon Cook have been hired as project engineers. Clark is working on the King Street Center office project in downtown Seattle and Cook is working in the company's Special Projects Division on the Stars Restaurant at Pacific Place.
Heathman Management Group of Portland has promoted Kay Casey to vice president of commercial property and Gordon Trapp to vice president of facilities management. Heathman Management Group develops and manages properties throughout the greater Portland area and the Pacific Northwest.

Sarah Clampitt has joined CB Richard Ellis as a sales assistant in the Bellevue office. She will specialize in the sales and leasing of Eastside office properties.
H. Roger Qualman has been named executive vice president and manager of Norris, Beggs & Simpson's Puget Sound office. He is one of the regional real estate firm's four partners. In his new position, Qualman will oversee the firm's brokerage, asset and property management, and mortgage financing operations.
James Bowman has been named regional sales manager for Mortgage Market's Bellevue branch. He will oversee all the firm's Puget Sound offices as well as recruit new bankers and develop marketing opportunities. Bowman previously worked in Key Bank's Commercial Real Estate Division in Portland. Mortgage Market also recently opened its fourth regional office in Seattle's Northgate neighborhood. The branch manager is Tuan Hoang, formerly of the Federal Way office. A fifth office is slated to open in Southcenter in August.
Windermere Real Estate has added four new sales agents to its Seattle-area offices. Cindy Hornbuckle has joined the Kent office after two years with Northwest Brokers. Lezlie Stobaugh is new to the Redmond office and to real estate. Aune Tietz and Susan Harvey have joined the Wedgwood office. Tietz previously worked seven years in the German Historical Museum in Berlin, Germany. Harvey worked at John L. Scott in Laurelhurst. Also at Windermere, about 40 agents from the Shoreline office will be painting, installing new doors and doing repair work today at St. Vincent's Inn, a homeless shelter in Shoreline. The work party will be in action from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Richard Clausen has been named designated broker/vice president for the RE/MAX Masters, Inc. office in Everett. He has 25 years of experience in the industry, having managed D.A. Duryee Co. and Prudential Preferred Properties. Jackie Feil has been appointed vice president of marketing. A 16-year veteran, she has eight years' experience as an appraiser and another eight as a sales agent.
