The Public Facilities Board of Directors has elected officers to serve for the next years. Robert Wallace was elected chair after serving as vice-chair for the past two years. Ron Judd was elected vice-chair. Wallace is managing partner of Wallace Properties Group, involved in commercial real estate investment, development and management in Washington state. Judd has worked in the labor movement for 18 years, currently as executive secretary-treasurer of the King County Labor Council.
Nine of 14 Davis Wright Tremaine attorneys named to partnership are based in the law firm's Seattle office. The new partners and their primary practice areas are: Jason A. Farber, health and corporate law; Sandra Gallagher-Alford, securities and merger and acquisitions; Jessica Goldman, communications and media law; James A. Greenfield, real estate and development transactions; Cassandra L. Kinkead, commercial law and intellectual property; Jason Klein, litigation and commercial disputes; Harry J. F. Korrell, labor-management relations; Peter J. Mucklestone, banking and finance law and Elizabeth A. Sullivan, employment litigation and counseling.
Longview-based BuySellBid.com, Inc., a developer of online multimedia classifieds, says it has significantly increased its real estate classifieds section.
The site now features more than 800,000 Multiple Listing Services classifieds. Homeseekers is BuySellBid.com’s exclusive real estate data partner for MLS listings.
Company officials say the four-year-old company has become the largest provider of multimedia classifieds content to the traditional media industry. Chief Executive Officer Jay Shepard says the goal is to become the largest, locally focused classifieds portal on the Web. The company has developed a repository of 2.3 million multimedia classifieds distributed over a network of 1,600 radio, television and cable station Web sites.
The new real estate section of BuySellBid.com provides visitors with access to more than 1 million listings, including rental property, for-sale-by-owner and MLS listings.
HomeSeekers.com plans to expand content to include information on commercial real estate, residential foreclosures and vacation resorts.
Windermere Real Estate has five new associates at its Seattle offices. They are associate broker Jinny Weintraub at the Northwest office and sales associates Will Kemper, Vernon Bolton and William Purdy at Eastlake, Toni Clayton at Lakeview and Wendy Saddler and Peggy Frasse at Queen Anne.
Seattle Mortgage Co., the largest, independently owned mortgage banking company in Washington, has hired several new staff members.
Bob Rygg and Patrick McLean have joined the Commercial Loan Department. Rygg will be vice president at the Bellevue location. McLean has been with the company's Tacoma branch where he originated residential loans. Also joining the commercial department in Bellevue is Joey Pagaragan, assistant manager and underwriter, and Karrie McBroom, an assistant commercial closer.
David A. Skow has joined the company as a loan officer at the Bellevue Net Branch. Cynthia J. Merrifield is the manager of the Florida Net Branch.
Koss Property Management, 5232 University Way N.E., in Seattle will celebrate 10 years in business with an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. Feb. 24. The company specializes in full-service residential property management for single-family homes, condominiums and small multi-family properties. Owner Tamara Simon established the company and is active in the real estate and property management community.
Brian Brinkley has joined Lynnwood Mortgage, a mortgage banking company with offices throughout western Washington, as a senior loan officer in the company's Lake Washington branch in Kirkland. Brinkley comes to the company from Northwest Home Loans in Bellevue where he was a senior loan officer for the last nine years.
Richard Muhlebach, senior managing director of Kennedy-Wilson Properties of Washington, is co-author of a two-volume, third edition of "Managing and Leasing Commercial Properties: Practice, Strategies and Forms" published by Aspen Law and Business. The 1,400-page set is a guide to managing and leasing shopping centers, office buildings and medical and industrial properties.
Bellevue-based QPoint Home Mortgage Network will open a new office in Woodinville in late March. It will be managed by Shelley Covington. The company is a franchisor of home mortgage franchise offices.
