Tere Foster and her six-person, luxury home selling team has moved from Coldwell Banker Bain to Windermere Real Estate's Bellevue West office. Foster's team has been selling more than $50 million worth of homes per year, mostly on the Eastside. Foster's sales now average more than $1 million per home. The team includes business manager and agent Justin Usey, listing manager and agent Louise Creighton, marketing manager and agent Mia Lumsden, listing agent Walt Sorenson, and showing agents David Foster and Don Skillman. Foster worked at Coldwell Banker Bain for 14 years. David Foster is her son, a Marine who recently returned from serving in Iraq. Her husband, Stanbery Foster, works as a trust and estate lawyer in Seattle.

Lincoln Square update Oct. 28

Kemper Development will update the Bellevue Downtown Association about restarting construction of the stalled Lincoln Square mega-project at a Tuesday, Oct. 28, breakfast gathering. The event will run from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency across the street from the Lincoln Square site in downtown Bellevue. Kemper Development, headed by Kemper Freeman, took control of the stalled project this summer and plans to link it to Bellevue Square and Bellevue Place (which includes the Hyatt). Mike Parks to address NAIOP

The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties will get a jump on the economic forecasting season at the broker and developer group's monthly breakfast meeting, set for Wednesday, Oct. 22. Michael Parks, editor and publisher of the Marple's Newsletter, will talk about the future of the Northwest economy. The event runs from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Bellevue Club near downtown Bellevue. The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties will hold its all-day fall seminar on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue. Presentations will include University of Washington's James Delisle on real estate forecasting for this region and Leibsohn & Co. on combining brokerage and property management. Jeff Tillman became a downtown Seattle office broker for CB Richard Ellis. Tillman previously worked in sales and marketing for a technology firm.

Trendwest Resorts

Ted Curtis joined Trendwest Resorts of Redmond as senior vice president of sales and marketing. Curtis replaced Ron Buzard, who retired from the time-share company. Curtis is a 28-year veteran of the resort business who was eastern division vice president for Hilton Grand Vacations Co. He was instrumental in developing the Hilton Club, which provides urban timeshares in several major metropolitan areas. Curtis also worked at Marriott Ownership Resorts. At Trendwest, Curtis will review business plans and work on strategic planning and direct sales.

Deborah Finch was hired as a property manager in Bellevue for Norris Beggs & Simpson. Finch will manage Norris Beggs' Puget Sound portfolio, totaling 676,000 square feet. Finch was a property manager in Seattle for Bedford Property Investors.

BRE Properties

Rick Kerr was promoted to divisional vice president at BRE Properties, in charge of management of 30 apartment complexes totaling 8,725 units in Seattle, Denver, Phoenix and Salt Lake City. Kerr was one of six people promoted to leadership roles in asset management for San Francisco-based BRE around the country. Kerr joined BRE in October 2002, coming from Archon Residential, where he was a regional vice president responsible for 6,000 units. BRE is a REIT that owns and operates 78 apartment complexes in six Western states.

Apartment symposium Oct. 15

Marcus & Millichap and the LandAmerica Transnation title companies will hold their yearly apartment investors symposium on Wednesday, Oct. 15, in downtown Seattle. The 2004 Apartment Overview speaker will be consultant Mike Scott of Dupre + Scott Apartment Advisors. The event will be at the Washington Athletic Club.
