Tim Holt, general manager of Union Square, has been promoted to vice president of Washington Real Estate Holdings.
Libby Stevenson is Commercial Real Estate Women Seattle's 2004 Member of the Year, and Heidi Sadler is Chairwoman of the Year. Stevenson, vice president and closing officer of Kennedy Associates Real Estate Counsel, is a longtime member of the organization. Sadler, of Gensler Design, headed the Membership Committee and exceeded the goal of boosting the CREW roll to a record 200 members. She continues as acting chairwoman of the committee and is co-chairwoman of the 2005 National Convention, which will be in Seattle this fall.
Brian Moore of Egis Real Estate Services in Seattle has earned accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED Version 2.1 professional. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design. Version 2.1 is an administrative update of the LEED 2.0 rating system for new commercial construction, major renovations and high-rise residential buildings.
HomeStreet Capital has provided $26.8 million in financing for construction of the first phase of Ashwood Commons, a mixed-use, high-rise in downtown Bellevue. Tim Patrick arranged the financing. The first phase, to be done in March 2006, will include a 23-story tower with 170 apartment units, 347 parking stalls and 18,000 square feet of retail. Su Development is the developer.
John L. Scott has opened a new franchise in downtown Edmonds. Karim Khoury and Darryl Lewis are co-owners of the company's first Edmonds office. Khoury is a licensed real estate broker and certified public accountant. Lewis, also a CPA, is a licensed real estate agent. The office has a mortgage and escrow company. The grand opening is 4-7 p.m. Jan. 26. Also, John L. Scott donated $10,000 to the Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami relief effort. The company's Bellevue Downtown office's new assistance manager is Genine Wood. She will work on marketing, and coach office agents in the newly expanded office. She has worked for Windermere and Lawyers Title Insurance Co. New agents at John L. Scott are Mehdi Ghorbanian at the Mercer Island office; Carol Honkanen and Ron Risdon, Redmond; and Dave Marks, Kent.
Members of the Northwest Multiple Listing Service completed 93,079 sales of single-family homes and condos in 2004. The sales in 15 Washington counties had a combined value of more than $28.5 billion, according to the Kirkland-based association. The number of units sold was up almost 11 percent over 2003. Measured by dollars, the year-over-year volume jumped nearly 32 percent. Single-family homes accounted for about 86 percent of residential sales and about 83 percent of the dollar volume. Seventy percent of condos sold last year were in King County.
