Pine Street Group has named Dennis J. Zook general manager of the Pacific Place shopping center in downtown Seattle. He replaces Jennifer Seversen, who is a partner in a Real Retail, a new consulting, leasing and tenant advisory company. Zook has more than 30 years of retail experience. Most recently, he was acting president and COO of Elephant Pharmacy, a Berkeley, Calif.-based retail start-up, in addition to managing his ZGroup Consulting practice.
Glimcher Realty Trust, owner of the SuperMall in Auburn, promoted Karen Maben to property leasing manager. She has been with the mall as specialty leasing manager since 1997. Before joining the mall, she worked for Mills Corp.
Harsch Investment Properties' Seattle office has moved to Bellevue's Plaza 520. The Portland-based company's Puget Sound regional office was in the Medical Dental Building. Harsch sold the downtown property earlier this year and moved to Plaza 520, an 11-building office park it acquired in 2004. The company's new address is 13010 N.E. 20th St., Suite 450, Bellevue, WA 98005. The phone number is (425) 556-9000.
Lynda Clarke has joined NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson as senior vice president of the Portland company's property management division. She'll serve on the executive management team to help direct the parent company, NBS Cos. Clarke started her career at Norris, Beggs & Simpson. Most recently, she was senior vice president with Bellevue-based KG Investment Management, opening the company's Portland office.

The Seattle law firm Short Cressman & Burgess named John J. Houlihan Jr. chair of its real estate practice section. Houlihan concentrates on real estate, environmental law and environmental insurance.
Gov. Christine Gregoire reappointed Washington State University Board of Regents members Elizabeth Cowles and Rafael Stone. Their new terms expire in 2010. Cowles chairs Cowles Publishing Co., a Spokane-based media, forest products, insurance and real estate company. Stone is a partner in the Seattle office of law firm Foster Pepper & Shefelman.
