Benaroya named Garrick Sturgill facility manager for South Hill Data Center in Puyallup and Boise Data Center in Idaho. He was general manager and operations manager of CoreLink Data Centers' Seattle operations. He also worked at the Westin Building, a Seattle communications hub; Peer1 Network; Time Warner Telecom; and Metromedia Fiber Network/AboveNet. Benaroya works with Real Property Investors and O'Keefe companies to acquire, develop and operate data centers.

Seattle broker Peter Truex joined Jones Lang LaSalle as a senior vice president in the tenant representation group. He was with Colliers International and ran the Seattle office. He specializes in office and data centers, and has experience representing legal, accounting and financial clients.

Justin Civitts joined Paradigm in Seattle. Paradigm is a national consulting company that offers property assessment and tax management services to clients with interests in commercial, industrial, multi-family and special purpose properties. Civitts was a consultant and appraiser with Kidder Mathews and the local office of Garvey Schubert Barer.

Anthony J. LeMessurier joined Kidder Mathews' Tacoma valuation division as an appraiser and consultant. Previously he was principal appraiser at Aravis LLC in Gig Harbor.
The Roseview Group, a Boston-based institutional real estate adviser with a Seattle office, and FD Stonewater of Arlington, Va., formed a fund to invest in real estate, focusing on federal government tenancy. The fund will pursue build-to-suit projects nationwide. Roseview's investment is backed by a major corporate pension fund.
Dave Bochsler is a national sales executive for Kirkland-based Cobalt Mortgage. He handles regional operations and will open branch offices in new areas. Cobalt has offices throughout the West. He was a divisional sales executive for Bank of America.
EMB Management of Bellevue opened a satellite office in Bellingham, where it's working with two condominium associations and pursuing other opportunities. EMB is managing the 21-unit Fairhaven Gardens and the 92-unit Maples at Cordata.
Irvine, Calif.-based Steadfast named Richard Gann chief marketing officer of the capital markets group. Steadfast owns two Seattle-area retail properties: Everett Mall and The Commons in Federal Way. Gann works on the Steadfast Income REIT, a $1.65 billion real estate investment trust, and will work on future alternative investment programs.
