Clete Casper, a former Washington State University football star, has been hired by CB Commercial as a specialist in the sale and leasing of office properties in the surrounding Seattle market. Casper was previously employed by the Sabey Corporation as development manager from May 1985 to February 1995.
John L. Scott has added several new sales associates to its offices in the Puget Sound area. They include: Dane Terry, Henry Samonte, Greg Gamble and Ron Branch, Lake Union; Marc Greg, Issaquah; and Chris Endresen, Poulsbo. Also, American Properties Northwest Inc., in Everett, has recently become the newest member of the John L. Scott network.
Windermere Real Estate has added several new sales associates to offices in the greater Seattle area. They are: Robert Coles, Bellevue-South; Valerie Schmidt, Kent; Sherry Paulsell, Madison Park; Richard McPhaden, Northwest; and Anna Mangus, Wedgewood.
Seattle Brewing Company has leased 18,948 square feet of a 41,222-square-foot facility warehouse at the Intrawest Industrial Center Woodinville I. Seattle Brewing signed a 20-year lease that begins August 1 and runs through July 31, 2015. The company will use the facility as a microbrewery for the production, distribution and storage of beer.
Realty World is opening a real estate school and training center, located at the firm's Seattle office at 7801 Rainier Ave. S. Through a self-paced, audio-tape program, the school offers both pre-licensing and continuing education courses, including real estate law, finance and broker management. Cost is $125. Cross Court Shopping Center, adjacent to Cascade Mall in Burlington, will soon expand and add a new tenant. Ground breaking for a 13,500-square-foot Western Warehouse retail store, is scheduled to begin this month with an anticipated opening in October. Cross Court is owned and managed by the Winmar Company, a subsidiary of Safeco Properties.
Commercial Real Estate Women-Northwest will feature Constance Proctor and Mark Reddington, at its June 14 luncheon. Proctor, a partner in the law firm of Alston, Courtnage, MacAulay and Proctor, and a member of the Seattle Symphony Concert Hall design review committee, will discuss the lease issues surrounding the new concert hall. Reddington, is a partner at the architectural firm of Loschky, Marquardt and Nesholm, and the project designer for the concert hall. He will share some history behind the project and design concept. She will discuss the lease issues surrounding the new concert hall and how the "deal" was structured with the city of Seattle. Reddington is a partner with Loschky, Marquardt and Nesholm, the project designer for the concert hall. He will share some history behind the project, design concept, and evolution of the current design. Registration begins at 11:45 a.m. and lunch follows at noon.
