PACCAR Inc.

Ron Morton has been promoted to senior vice president of PACCAR Inc. and will be responsible for the company's domestic and international finance companies including PACCAR Leasing Corporation. Morton will also continue as president of PACCAR Financial Corporation (PFC). Morton joined the company in 1988 as president of PFC. Prior to that he served as president of the Equipment Finance Group of Heller Financial Inc. and held several senior financial positions with Chase/Clark Credit Company. Supermall of the Great Northwest Supermall of the Great Northwest, a new mall located midway between Seattle and Tacoma which is scheduled to open on August 25, has hired Diane Bien as advertising sales manager. Bien's background includes work as an account executive with K106 Radio, and extensive sales and advertising experience with Northwest Cable Advertising and Pacific Communications (PACCOM), where she was the 1989 Employee of the Year.

Pentzer Development

Rob Gragg has joined Pentzer Development Corporation in Spokane as senior property manager of the Spokane Business and Industrial Park. Gragg most recently served as president and qualifying broker for Alvin J. Wolff Management Company.

Grubb & Ellis

Brian Bruininks has been named to Grubb & Ellis' Seattle industrial properties division as a sales assistant. Bruininks specializes in leasing and sale of industrial properties in the Puget Sound region.

Therrien & Price

Marc Therrien and Steve Price have formed Therrien & Price, a commercial real estate valuation and consulting firm providing real estate services to government, legal and financial clients. The firm analyzes and appraises vacant land parcels, as well as a wide range of improved properties, including office, industrial, golf properties, multi-family residential and low-income housing.

John L. Scott

John L. Scott's Laurelhurst office has added Bella Pozina and Thomas Law as new sales associates. Pozina has recently taught computer science at both the high school and university levels in Russia. Law previously worked as a software engineer.

Coldwell Banker

Terry Miller, managing broker of the Coldwell Banker Bain Associates' Capitol Hill office, has earned the national designation of Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB). Miller also chairs the Seattle Council of the Association of Realtors and Bain's committee on preparation of agents new to the firm.

Homebuyer education seminar

The Washington State Housing Finance Commission will sponsor a free community homebuyer education seminar June 24, at Metropolitan Savings, 9325 Rainier Ave. S. Century 21

Robin Buckley, Jean Hill, Jerry Hill and Gordon James have recently opened Century 21 Exclusive Properties at 301 E. Wallace Kneeland Blvd., Suite 148. Century 21 Pacific West Properties participated in the March of Dimes WalkAmerica and raised $1,251 for charity. The company has added three new associates. Julie Jacobson, Century 21 All Star; and Doug Carpenter and Anh Le, Century 21 North Homes Realty.

Bellevue Conference Center moves

The Bellevue Conference Center has entered an 11-year lease agreement for new space that will allow expansion of the Eastside facility. The new location is at 121 107th Ave. N.E., next to the new Bellevue Tower. Once completed, the center will cover approximately 24,000 square feet, about one-third more than its present location.

Locke speaks at meeting

Gary Locke, King County Executive, will speak at the Building Owners and Managers Association of Seattle and King County's general meeting. The meetng will be held on June 19, at the Four Seasons Olympic Hotel. Locke will share his thoughts on several important issues such as: how to reshape the county due to an eroding tax base caused by annexation, youth crime prevention programs, the county's budget deficit and economic development.
