HomeStreet Capital hired Chris Hutchings as income property loan officer for its Seattle office. Hutchings will be responsible for arranging commercial and multifamily real estate financing in the Puget Sound area. Hutchings was a member of the Seattle investment group at Colliers International.

HomeStreet Bank is reorganizing its senior executive team. Richard S. Swanson, chairman and CEO will transfer CEO responsibilities to Bruce W. Williams, currently president and COO. Former Bank of America executive Joan Enticknap will become president and COO. Swanson will remain chairman of the bank board, and Williams will remain chairman of the board of the holding company, HomeStreet, Inc. Williams is the son of HomeStreet Bank long-time president and chairman emeritus Walter B. Williams and the grandson of the company's first employee and long-time president W. Walter Williams. This new position will make Williams a third generation CEO of the company. Enticknap moves to HomeStreet Bank from a 23-year career with Bank of America, formerly Seafirst Bank.
West Coast Bancorp expanded its Vancouver business banking team. Lori Lindsell and Jim Wilmarth will both serve as vice president and relationship managers. Lindsell has been with US Bank in Vancouver for 30 years. Wilmarth has 16 years of commercial lending and relationship banking experience, most recently with Bank of America in Vancouver. Bob Pascalar is assistant relationship manager and was previously with First Mutual Bank's commercial real estate loan production office.

Brokers at Marcus & Millichap sold a six-unit apartment building on Capitol Hill and a four-unit building in West Seattle.
Buyer Mike Riddell paid seller Rodney Wong $668,000 for the six-unit structure at 1032 Lakeview Blvd. E. Brokers Dan Swanson and Dean Smith arranged that deal.
Fesseha Tesfai paid Karl Igloi and Dennis Shute $272,000 for the four-unit Sherwood Apartments at 10751 16th Ave. S.W. Broker George Miller assembled that sale.
Richard Muhlebach, by then back from teaching commercial real estate practices in Poland, will talk about Europe and Asia at Commercial Real Estate Women's Thursday, Dec. 13, lunch meeting. Muhlebach, a long-time Seattle-area property manager, is a senior managing director for Kennedy Wilson Property's Northwest region. He headed TRF Management Corp. for 19 years before it was sold to Kennedy Wilson. He'll talk to CREW about real estate practices, challenges and opportunities in Europe and Asia. Jeffrey Howard became a John L. Scott agent in Redmond. Edward Newell started selling in the Laurelhurst office. And Deidre Raben is now an agent in the firm's Bainbridge Island office.
Sally Thompson joined the firm's North Seattle office. Thompson previously served as public relations representative for the electrical engineering firm Sparling.
John L. Scott also leased space for a new Kent office, to open in April, in the Lake Meridian Marketplace shopping center.

The Body Shop has opened a new store at the Alderwood Mall. The store is the first of the chain's outlets to feature its new design that incorporates natural and sustainable materials, such as a bamboo grass floor, hemp textiles and Parallam engineered lumber. The Body Shop, based in England, has 1,900 outlets in 50 countries.
