Bullivant Houser Bailey

David W. Meyer has joined the Vancouver office of Bullivant Houser Bailey PC. Meyer's experience spans 17 years of real estate, business formation, and business and probate litigation in Southwest Washington. He is also vice president and a member of the board of directors for the Parks and Recreation Foundation of Vancouver and Clark County. Bullivant will move its Vancouver office to a 7,500-square-foot space in Vancouver's Bank of America Financial Center in August.

Locke, Scheunemann address NAIOP

A number of the area's commercial real estate leaders plan to beat the drum for transportation funding packages that will come up for vote this fall. Politicos will work the circuit, too. Gov. Gary Locke will take up the drum sticks at the next breakfast meeting of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, set for Wednesday, June 19, at the Elliott Grand Hyatt Hotel in downtown Seattle. The event begins with 7 a.m. registration and networking and a 7:30 program start. Art Scheunemann, head of the Economic Development Council of Seattle and King County, will also speak. NAIOP is also gearing up for its annual Night of the Stars awards program, set for July 19. The association is soliciting nominations for award winners.

Pacific Real Estate Partners, Oncor

Oncor International, which nationally links commercial brokerages, has signed up Bellevue-based Pacific Real Estate Partners to replace Kidder Mathews & Segner as its Seattle-area affiliate. Oncor president and CEO David Ball described PREP as "a proven mid-sized firm with strong leadership, experienced brokers, and excellent corporate and investor relationships." PREP principal Steve Schwartz said, "Our new linkage with Oncor nicely rounds out our client service structure." Seattle-based Kidder held the affiliation for years but earlier this year jumped to Insignia Financial Group and changed its name to Insignia Kidder Mathews. Oncor's network exceeds 50 brokerages.

IDC, NACORE form CoreNet Global

Two national associations serving corporate real estate executives combined into one. The International Development Research Council and the National Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives are now joined under the name CoreNet Global.

A full day on mold

An education services firm will put on a one-day seminar on June 26 in Seattle about "Solving Water Intrusion and Mold Problems in Washington." Two Seattle engineers from the environmental firm of URS Corp. -- Gail Gislason and Russ Snyders -- will lead the program. The event is designed for contractors, developers, subcontractors, principals, architects, engineers, property owners and managers, insurance professionals, attorneys and real estate agents, advance material says. It will be held at the downtown Seattle Westin Hotel and cover testing for molds, current regulations, writing contacts and producing effective designs. Snyders is URS's principal-in-charge in Seattle as well as senior engineer for asbestos and lead services in the Northwest. Gislason is a certified industrial hygienist. Hendricks & Partners

Kenny Dudunakis of the apartment brokerage of Hendricks & Partners arranged the $6.72 million sale of Tama Qua, a 126-unit apartment building in South Seattle.The seller was California Real Estate Management of San Jose. The buyer was Fairfield Residential of San Diego. The property is at 11844 26th Ave. S.

Marcus & Millichap

Phillip Frick joined the Seattle office of Marcus & Millichap as a broker in apartments and multifamily land. Frick owned his own brokerage for 15 years. He has also worked in association with developers in California and Florida, including Affiliated America, United Home Corp. and Levitt & Sons.

Paragon Real Estate Advisors

Brokers for Paragon Real Estate Advisors of Seattle arranged the $1.7 million sale of a Wallingford apartment building and a $2.55 million sale of one in Issaquah. Russell Enterprises, represented by Paragon's Michael McQuaid and Peter Larsen, sold the 18-unit Wallingford Apartments at 3426 Wallingford Ave. N. to 3426 LLC, represented by Paragon's John Stoner. The price equals $94,444 per unit and a 7.02 percent current cap rate. This is the eighth transaction Paragon has handled for Russell, which was conducting a 1031 tax-deferring exchange that involved selling three properties to buy a larger one. In the other deal, J. Clark Johnson Real Estate LLC sold the 24-unit Morgan Manor at 595 Newport Way N.W. in downtown Issaquah to a local investor who was looking for a new Eastside property, Paragon said. Morgan Manor was built in 1999. Eric Smith and Peter Larsen of Paragon represented the seller. The price equals $106,458 per unit and a 7.72 percent current cap rate.

John L. Scott

Fiona Jones moved up from associate broker in John L. Scott Real Estate's Poulsbo office to branch manager in Kingston, where the office totals 21 agents. Jones has been with Scott since 1998.

Windermere

Dirk Bernhardt and Bill McGee became new sales associates in Windermere Real Estate's Queen Anne office. Both are new to selling houses. Bernhardt is a recent graduate of the law school at Santa Clara University. He worked in civil litigation before he moved to Seattle.

Williams Marketing

Teresa Kenney was promoted to vice president of marketing at Williams Marketing, a Seattle firm that sells condos and townhomes, particularly in and around downtown. Kenney is charged with expanding developer marketing programs. She joined the company in January 2000 as marketing manager. Before that she was marketing communications director for Key Physician Resources, a healthcare marketing consulting firm in the Midwest. She also worked in communications for the American Lung Association of Indiana.
