NAIOP

• Mass transportation in downtown Seattle will be the topic of NAIOP's 7 a.m. July 21 breakfast at the Bellevue Club, 11200 S.E. Commercial Brokers Association

The Commercial Brokers Association and a dozen King County cities have created http://www.NWProperty.net, which lists investment opportunities and demographic data. Current municipalities that are participating are Bellevue, Bothell, Issaquah, Kenmore, Kent, Kirkland, Mercer Island, Redmond, Sammamish, SeaTac, Snoqualmie and Woodinville.

Association Management Services has landed the CREW Seattle account. Melby, Cameron & Hull currently manages events for another commercial real estate group, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. Cascade Partners

Cascade Partners, a Seattle brokerage that specializes in the sale of two- to 10-unit apartment properties, has hired senior associate Kyle Hunt, associate Joseph Hamlin and marketing and sales assistant Ann Wreden. The company also promoted Jamie Campbell to marketing and transaction coordinator. Hunt formerly worked for Cana Realty Group and Marcus & Millichap. Hamlin worked for Trinity Partnership, a development and property management company, and was a staff accountant for Lease Crutcher Lewis. Wreden most recently was administrative assistant at Mellon Private Wealth Management.

Hendricks & Partners

Kenny Dudunakis and Robin Hays negotiated the $3.17 million sales of Aspen Creek, a 104-unit manufactured-home park in Redmond, Ore. Gordon Swope Jr., Anne M. Swope and John W. Baustert et al of Steilacoom sold it to Aspen Creek MHC LLC of Newport Beach, Calif.

Velkers

Ray Velkers has joined Colliers International's Tacoma office. He specializes in retail leasing, sales and investments, primarily in Pierce County. He was president of RLV Management Consultants in Danville, Calif., and a real estate associate with Tucker/Centoni Real Estate, also in Danville, specializing in sales of luxury golf properties. Before working in real estate, he was an executive with Sears, Roebuck and Co.

Timberland Bank

Timberland Bank, a subsidiary of Timberland Bancorp, will acquire from Venture Bank real estate, branch infrastructure and employees for offices in Toledo, Winlock, Elma, Montesano, Hoquiam, Aberdeen and Panorama City, as well as about $91 million in deposits. The transaction is scheduled to close early in the fourth quarter of this year. Timberland was founded in Hoquiam and has 15 branches in five counties, with a new branch in Gig Harbor.

Colliers International

Colliers International broker Connie Boyle represented the seller of the Auburn Burger King at 1520 SuperMall Way. Boyle, who had the listing for the 3,300-square-foot restaurant for 15 months, said Harvey and Wilma Grosh sold it to Henry and Lydia Cheng Living Trust for $1.11 million. Henry Wong of Scott Real Estate Investment represented the buyer.

CoStar Group

CoStar Group has been added to the Nasdaq Financial-100 Index, which includes 100 of the largest financial companies on the exchange. The Bethesda, Md.-based company provides information services to commercial real estate professionals in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Quality Street Showcase of Exceptional Homes

A new luxury home tour, Quality Street Showcase of Exceptional Homes, will be July 16 - Aug. 15 at The Reserve At Newcastle, a golf course and community atop Cougar Mountain. John L. Scott Real Estate, Reserve Tristar and Pacific Land Investment are the major sponsors of the benefit tour of six homes priced for sale at up to $2.3 million. All proceeds go to the care fund at Seattle Children's Hospital. Cost is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and free for children under 12.
