Jeffrey R. Sweeney has joined United Systems Integrators as managing director for the Puget Sound region and senior account director of USI's corporate real estate services alliance with T-Mobile USA Inc. The Bellevue-based office will provide real estate, design and construction services for much of T-Mobile's U.S. commercial real estate portfolio, including cell site leases. Sweeney, formerly of Trammell Crow Co., is a native of the Northwest and has directed real estate departments for Verizon Wireless, AirTouch and U.S. West NewVector Group.

HomeSight

Michael Liu, assistant secretary for Public and Indian Housing at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, met local officials Tuesday at the Stellina, a new affordable condo development in Seattle for a celebration of affordable housing partnerships. HomeSight, a nonprofit community development corporation, developed the 34-unit Stellina, where units range in price from $150,000 to $200,000. HomeSight worked with HomeStreet Bank, Impact Capital/LISC, Neighborworks, the city and state on the project.

Associate broker Kevin Hoover, formerly of John L. Scott, and sales associate Lianne Aukai, previously with Prudential Northwest Realty, have joined Windermere's Eastlake office in Seattle. Sales associate Batool Mazhar has joined the Mercer Island office. Previously, she owned Treasures International in Seattle.

John L. Scott Real Estate presented $25,000 to Seattle Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center during KOMO 4's recent "Miracle Makers." A total of $7.2 million was raised during the telethon, during which 20 Scott employees took pledges.

NAIOP seeks nominations

The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties is accepting nominations for its Night of the Stars awards on Nov. 12. Nominations are due July 16. Litigator Paul E. Brain and real estate lawyer Roger T. Dunaway joined the Seattle office of law firm Ater Wynne. Both were with Mikkelborg, Broz, Wells & Fryer in Seattle. Brain has more than 20 years of experience with business clients in commercial litigation, focusing on real estate development. He has also worked on employment, finance and bankruptcy disputes. Dunaway handles structured settlement transfers in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California and Alaska. He deals with purchase and sale transactions, commercial leasing, general landlord/tenant matters and foreclosures. Ater Wynne also has an office in Portland.

Routh Crabtree Olsen

Bellevue-based Routh Crabtree Olsen hired two associates Steven K. Linkon and Wendy Walter. Linkon was with Newport Beach, Calif. firm Wright, Finlay & Zak, as senior counsel. He works on bankruptcy and litigation.

Walter was a tax associate in the Seattle office of Deloitte & Touche. She will focus on creditor's rights in bankruptcy. Routh Crabtree Olsen is a mortgage banking law firm representing financial institutions and investors.
