Scott Madsenjoined Capacity Commercial Group LLC, a new Portland real estate brokerage, as a principal/partner. Madsen was Cushman & Wakefield's top revenue producer the last 12 years. Capacity Commercial Group hired Dan Richards as an associate broker in office services. He graduated from Brigham Young University in May.

A Regional Coalition for Housing

ARCH is the inaugural winner of the national Fannie Mae Foundation's Innovations in American Government Award in Affordable Housing. The award — made by the Ash Institute of the John F. Kennedy School of Government and the Fannie Mae Foundation — includes a $25,000 grant to study how to replicate A Regional Coalition for Housing's program elsewhere in the country. ARCH is a partnership of 15 Eastside cities and King County. The 12-year-old group's focus is preserving and increasing housing for low- and moderate-income families.

Fidelity National Title Insurance

The new regional national title services/commercial division of Fidelity National Title Insurance Co., has added new staff members. They are Suzanne Larsen, underwriting counsel; Jay Pugh and arl Norambuena commercial title officers; Kim Azure, commercial escrow officer; Nancy Brooks and Rachel Probst, commercial escrow assistants; and Kari Dean and Terri Nugent, customer service representatives. The office plans to relocate to 1314 Sixth Ave. in Seattle at the end of September.

Cushman & Wakefield

Cushman & Wakefield of Washington has promoted Wende Sauvage to associate broker. She previously served as a marketing assistant to Senior Managing Broker Michael Dash.

Lion Inc.

Jacob L. Smith is retiring from the board of directors of Lion Inc., a Seattle-based online mortgage service provider. Lion's board has elected James D. Russo to fill the vacancy. Russo will chair Lion's audit committee.

Quadrant Homes

Quadrant Homes has opened sales for Brookside, a new home community at Bonney Lake. Homes range from 1,500 to 3,600 square feet and are priced from the $190,000s.

Misiu Systems

Misiu Systems of Bothell has reached an agreement with the Seattle-King County Association of Realtors to distribute Misiu's RealGuard Personal Alarm System to Washington Realtors. The system, expected to be available Sept. 1, has three units: a personal alarm the agent wears, a home alarm in the for-sale property and an auto alarm in the agent's car. If an agent feels threatened, he or she presses the panic button on the personal alarm, which prompts the home and auto units to emit a loud piercing noise. Agents can activate alarms placed by other agents. The system retails for $320. The agreement provides discounts to 18,000 Realtors in Washington.

Corporate Housing Alliance

Seven corporate housing providers have created the Corporate Housing Alliance, which lets clients access more than 8,000 rental units and other services across the nation. The partners are SuiteAmerica, Nino Corporate Lodging, Corporate Housing Options, Habitat Corporate Housing, Stressfree Relocation, Churchill Corporate Services and Northwest Suites & Housing Services. Companies that need relocation help for staff members contact the alliance's call center in Redmond.
