Grubb & Ellis Co.

Andrew Stark has joined Grubb & Ellis as an associate in the industrial market, representing both landlords and tenants in the Southend. Stark, a Seattle native, previously worked in advertising as a sales manager for EBates.com in San Francisco.

Windermere Commercial

Windermere Commercial of Kennewick will manage West Court Plaza, an 84,800-square-foot, mixed-use retail project in Pasco. Windermere's Dirk Stricker and Connie Oswald say the plan is to develop an adjacent 8.4-acre parcel with retail and entertainment uses.

Quadrant Homes

Quadrant Homes has promoted Denise Church to sales manager, and Dave Mozzone to manager of quality and buyer services. Church previously was served as manager of customer service, and Mozzone was assistant construction manager. Quadrant presented the Children's Home Society of Washington $10,000 as part of the company's Bringing It Home For Kids Campaign. The funds will be used to for adoption, family support, parent education and advocacy programs.

Macquarie Real Estate Finance

Colette Weber has joined Macquarie Real Estate Finance of Seattle as loan administration manager. She previously worked for Seattle Mortgage. Jabin Henderson has joined the company as loan portfolio manager after transferring from Macquarie's office in Melbourne, Australia.

Hendricks & Partners

Bascom Northwest Ventures of San Francisco bought the 240-unit Bellevue Pointe, 15414 N.E. 18th St., for $20.7 million from Bellevue Pointe Apartments of Tacoma. Kenny Dudunakis, the Hendricks & Partners broker who negotiated the sale, said the buyer plans interior improvements. Orange Apartments, a limited liability company in Seattle, bought The Fountains, a 63-unit apartment property in Tempe, Ariz., from SJFT of Scottsdale, Ariz., for $2.85 million. Tim Ufkes of the Seattle office of Hendricks & Partners negotiated the deal.

John L. Scott

The Bellevue Place office of John L. Scott has four new agents: Julie Bouscaren, Brooks Johnston, Shelly Ness and Michelle Schlichting. The Lynnwood Center office has five new agents: Ingrid Davis, Shane Kalles, Paul Moreno, Joseph Riad and Tom Valenti. And the Gig Harbor office has three new agents: Angela Rexroad, Lisa Teager and Carolyn Westmoreland.

Housing Washington 2004

  • Nicolas Retsinas, director of the Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University, will give a keynote address at Housing Washington 2004. The largest regional affordable housing conference in the nation is Monday and Tuesday at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue. Housing Washington is for architects, developers, lenders and others.
