The Staubach Company

Staubach's Northwest Corporate Services office has hired Mauricio Bendaña as an account manager. He has worked in the commercial real estate industry for six years, doing strategic planning, financial analysis, advisory services, and transaction management. He was with Trammell Crow Co. as senior associate for corporate advisory services, and was director of business development for Concilio LLC.

Coldwell Banker Bain

Rental Housing Association of Puget Sound

The board of directors of the Rental Housing Association of Puget Sound elected officers for 2007. They are: Charlie Spaeth, chair; Bob Wolfe, vice chair; Karyn Kuever, second vice chair; Jack Hawes, treasurer; and Diane Castanes, secretary. Each will serve a one-year term. HomeStreet Capital

Gregory Weed has joined HomeStreet Capital, the income property real estate lending division of HomeStreet Bank, as vice president and team leader. He will oversee business development in the Seattle area. Weed has more than 30 years of experience in development and financing, and is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and the Urban Land Institute.

NAI Puget Sound Properties

Billy Moultrie and John Werdel of NAI Puget Sound Properties were recently named vice presidents of the Bellevue-based firm. Moultrie has been in with NAI since 2001. He specializes in industrial and office sales and leasing in the Southend. Werdel has been involved in commercial real estate since 1999 and joined NAI in 2003. He specializes in industrial and office in the Eastside and Seattle markets.

Old Republic Title Holding Co.

Paul Johnston has been appointed vice president, sales and marketing manager of Old Republic Title Holding Co. He will be based in the corporate offices in Oakland, Calif., and cover the western region. Johnston was Northern California sales manager for another major underwriter.

NAIOP South Sound Real Estate Forecast

The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties will hold its South Sound Real Estate Forecast on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center, starting at 11 a.m. with registration and networking.
