TXR, LLC, a new commercial real estate brokerage and investment firm located in Seattle, opened its doors this spring. The company will focus on sales, investment and leasing services, including the creation of private acquisition groups. Stephan Bernard, senior managing broker, said the TXR management sees the current real estate climate as full of opportunity, adding “only innovation will prevail in this market.” The firm has offices on Dexter Avenue North. Eric Leland is the new vice president of advisory services in the Seattle office of Pacific Real Estate Partners. He has been involved in the development of dozens of commercial projects, as well as leasing, and purchase and sales of many kinds of real estate.
In an effort to help homebuyers who lose their jobs, Cobalt Mortgage has partnered with the Rainy Day Foundation to provide mortgage protection to homebuyers for up to six months through the Cobalt Mortgage Payment Assurance Plan. The plan offers up to $1,800 per month for up to six months. It is available in Washington, Oregon and Arizona.
Opus Northwest said the Fifteen Twenty-One Second Avenue condo tower in Seattle received two honors at the 47th annual Gold Nugget Awards. It won the top award for Outstanding Attached Project — High-Rise for Sale, and received an award for Sustainable Residential Neighborhood — Attached Home.
NAIOP's Community Enhancement Team will work with the Green Seattle Partnership and the Cascade Land Conservancy to remove invasive plants and restore habitat on June 27 and again on Oct. 24.
