Brandon Burmeister joined Cushman & Wakefield-Commerce's Seattle office leasing team as an associate, and Justin Johnson joined as an associate director with the Eastside office leasing team. Burmeister was with Grubb & Ellis. Johnson was with the Broderick Group.

Raymond Allen is a new associate at Marcus & Millichap's Seattle office. He was vice president at Capital Real Estate Finance in San Diego.
Seattle-based Columbia Hospitality is the new manager of Cave B Inn at SageCliffe in Quincy and Rainbow Ranch Lodge in Big Sky, Mont. Cave B is owned by Seattle residents Vince and Carol Bryan, and Scott Gibson of Seattle owns Rainbow Ranch. Columbia said it has nearly doubled its management contracts since December, adding more than 400 employees and 900 guest rooms. Growth included acquisition of another Seattle company, The Chambers Group. Cave B overlooks the Columbia River gorge and has 30 guest rooms and 25 luxury yurts with a vineyard, restaurant and spa. Rainbow Ranch is on the Gallatin River and has 21 guest rooms and three cabins.

To commemorate its 35th anniversary, Capitol Hill Housing is collecting stories and photos of past and current residents. The nonprofit also wants to hear the stories of volunteers, workers and others that have been involved with CHH. CHH set up a 35th anniversary Flickr group at http://tiny.cc/pjnb1. CHH provides affordable housing and community development, with 42 buildings in Seattle.

Emeritus, a Seattle-based provider of senior living services, entered into an agreement with affiliates of Blackstone Real Estate Advisors to acquire 24 assisted-living communities with 1,870 units. They now are owned by a joint venture of Emeritus and Blackstone: Emeritus owns 19 percent and Blackstone owns 81 percent. The price to acquire Blackstone's interest is approximately $99 million. Emeritus has 482 communities in 42 states.
Capitol Hill Housing's Broadway Crossing won a Door Knocker Award from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The 44-unit complex is at 815 E. Pine St. and has a Walgreens store at the base. It was developed in 2007 with HUD assistance. GGLO designed it and Rafn was the general contractor.
Apartment owner and operator Archstone appointed Richard E. “Rick” Lamprecht executive vice president of development for the West, which includes Washington. The firm has more than 2,700 apartments in the pipeline but none are planned for Washington. Lamprecht was owner and principal of REL Property Consulting.
Wells Fargo Bank is first on Fannie Mae's top multifamily loan originators for 2010. The others are DB Mortgage Services, Walker & Dunlop, CBRE Multifamily Capital, PNC Bank, Arbor Commercial Funding, Prudential Multifamily Mortgage, CWCapital, M&T Realty Capital Corp. and Greystone Servicing Corp.
Former Seattle Mariner pitcher Jamie Moyer and his wife, Karen, are the Seattle King County Realtors' 2011 First Citizen Award winners for their work through The Moyer Foundation, which has raised more than $20 million to support programs for children.
