Clarke joins Kidder Mathews

Ty Clarke has joined the Tacoma office of Kidder Mathews, specializing in industrial leasing and sales. Kidder Mathews has more than 500 employees in 10 offices in Washington, Oregon and California. It does $3.2 billion in transactions annually and manages 30 million square feet of space.

Tarragon hires McIntyre

Tarragon hired Danielle McIntyre to be executive assistant to company president Dennis Rattie. McIntyre last worked as an executive assistant to the CEO of a development company in San Diego. She will manage Rattie's schedule and coordinate with staff on projects. Tarragon develops residential, industrial, office and retail projects in Washington, California and Nevada.

WSHFC foreclosure help funded

Washington State Housing Finance Commission received a two-year, $807,788 grant from the state Attorney General's Office for counseling homeowners facing foreclosure statewide. The goal is to slow down or stop preventable foreclosures. A press release says the funds will be focused on “high-need” areas in Clark, Pierce and Spokane counties. Since 1998, WSHFC has allocated $26.3 million to nonprofits for counseling services. WSHFC said it has created or preserved affordable housing for more than 307,000 people statewide.

Seattle City Council candidate forum July 9

The Washington chapter of NAIOP, AGC of Washington and BOMA Seattle King County will hold a meet-and-greet and fundraiser for Seattle City Council candidates who they say are most likely to align with real estate industry interests. Tarragon promotes Kristen Link

Tarragon named Kristen Link senior development manager. Link has been with Seattle-based Tarragon for four years as a development manager. She has overseen Kent Station Apartments, a 154-unit complex set to open in May 2016, and the first phase of Salmon Creek Corporate Park, a 134,000-square-foot industrial project in Sumner that opened this year. Tarragon develops residential, industrial, office and retail projects in Washington, California and Nevada.

Brie Jensen joins Cushman & Wakefield

Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce hired Brie Jensen in the Seattle office as a senior director on the industrial team. She was a partner at Pacifica Law Group, and she also worked at Socius Law Group, Jameson Babbitt Stites & Lombard and K&L Gates. Cushman & Wakefield said Jensen's background will be an asset in solving legal issues that can slow negotiations. Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce is based in Salt Lake City and along with its sister company, Cushman & Wakefield | Northmarq, manages more than 52 million square feet of retail, office and industrial property.
