Project description: Modernization of existing high school, including new mechanical and electrical systems, structural upgrades, a new roof structure and storm drainage system. Three buildings totaling 163,927 square feet will be remodeled for a new library, administration area, kitchen and updated performing arts center.
Address: 700 Israel Road, Tumwater.
Original contract amount: $14,349,562.
Start of construction: March 2, 1998.
Expected completion date: Aug. 31, 1999.
