Dan Stull, president of the Seattle-based Web site design firm fine.com Interactive, has been named to the board of directors of LaserDirect, a direct marketing communications company based in Kent. Diana Bury has joined fine.com Interactive as director of Internet services. She was most recently with Sanctuary Woods Multimedia and AT&T Microelectronics in the San Francisco area. Tom Shannon and Stacy Speicher have joined the firm with Shannon as an interactive designer of Web sites and Speicher as a producer. Shannon was with FreeRange Media in Seattle and Speicher was with LaserDirect.

David Gabrieli and Jackie Wickersham have joined the Seattle law firm of Foster Pepper & Shefelman as associates. Gabrieli's practice will focus on intellectual property, licensing and antitrust law. Wickersham's practice will emphasize municipal and public finance.

Bay Colony, a finalist for builders award

Bay Colony, a 78 home condominium community in Dupont, received two gold and six silver awards as a finalist in the prestigious MAME awards, including best townhome or duplex, community of the year, and best marketing. Sponsored by the Master Builder's Association of King and Snohomish Counties, the award recognized the quality finish work and spacious designs of the homes at Bay Colony, as well as the project's success in appealing to all markets of home buyers, who want care-free living without sacrificing style and amentities. Less than one year after opening, almost 60% of homs have been sold and occupied in the community built and developed by Carino Homes of Univeristy Place. Coaching concept available for real estate agents A new system, Cross Coaching, by local realtor Carla Cross, has just garnered endorsement by the Managers' Council (CRB), National Association of Realtors, as best of its kind. The program consists of a complete system oriented handbook, and three audio tapes, explaining the program. The concept of coaching has entered the real estate field to better train agents in customer satisfaction and successful sales. Cross created this program to fill the void between formal, traditional training programs and the 'real world'. ITM Corp.

Seattle-based ITM Corporation, which recently introduced a new Internet-based service linking freight forwarders and other transportation service providers directly to shippers via desktop PC, has been selected as a partner in the "Dream Team" of transportation and logistics assembled by the Microsoft Corporation. The alliance, officially called the Value Chain Initiative (VCI), will offer integrated solutions using personal computers and the Internet to redefine transportation logistics for shippers. The new software system will allow shippers the ability to click and ship important air cargo via the Internet. The Click 'n Ship system enables customers to quickly request pick-ups and track shipments. It also lets users print forms incorporating current shipping information, including international documentation from their PC. ITM is one of 28 companies that has been assembled by Microsoft for its new VCI.

Warren Barkley has been named systems analyst for Technical Solutions, a Pacific Northwest firm specializing in computer network solutions and systems integration. Barkley's responsibilities will include analyzing, supporting and improving existing computer network systems. Technical Systems has offices in Seattle, Bellevue, and Bainbridge Island.
