Norm Alberg has been appointed to the position of manager of program management for the Washington State Department of Transportation's Northwest Region office in Shoreline. Alberg will be responsible for managing transportation programs for the six-county region from the Canadian border to the King/Pierce County line. He will also oversee the region's Information Technology Center, which is responsible for the operations of the computer system for the region.
MorseMcFadden Communications, Inc., a Kirkland-based public relations firm specializing in advanced technologies, has hired Paige Ziegele as an account coordinator. Prior to joining the staff at MorseMcFadden, Ziegele interned for a U.S. Congressman, produced a marketing and public relations plan for the City of Gainsville Training and Development office, and was an account coordinator for Ketchum Public Relations in Atlanta.

Technical Solutions, a full-service systems integration company, has named Jefferson Rowley as senior network consultant. Rowley will specialize in Internet and Intranet services, wide and local area networks, high-end router and switch technology, and telecommunications. Technical Solutions has offices located in Seattle, Bellevue, and Bainbridge Island.

The Redmond-based advertising agency, Parallel Communications, has developed a new company called ImageX, Inc. ImageX will market the first automated system for ordering custom business printing over computer networks, including the Internet. Joe Verschueren, Parallel CEO and partner, will head the new company as its president and chief executive. Verschueren will also continue as an active board member and owner of Parallel Communications. Robert Delf, former CEO of Interlinq Software, has joined the Parallel board as interim chief operating officer. Delf will take on Verschueren's daily management responsibilities and assist in finding a Verscheren's replacement. James Hutchins, Parallel's director of strategic planning, will take on new business development.

Digital Kitchen, a Seattle-based broadcast design firm, has hired Mary Edmonds as client services director. Edmonds will focus her efforts on account management and production coordination for accounts such as Intel, Nike, Precor and K2. The offices of Digital Kitchen are located in Bellevue.

Kay Cee Olson has been promoted to satellite clinic transition manager at Virginia Mason Medical Center. Olson will coordinate the transition of satellite clinic computer and telephone systems to the Virginia Mason system. This allows the medical center to have direct access to the clinics and allows the clinics to have access to Virginia Mason information.
The Seattle based CPA firm of Moss Adams LLP has issued a master license to Moores Rowland International Europe to be the distributor of its Profit Mentor and WinCredit software products, and associated banker and business owner training programs in Western Europe. Brussels based Moores Rowland International Europe will offer sub-licenses to its member firms. Paardekooper & Hoffman, located in The Netherlands, and Fiduciaire Moores Rowland in Belgium are the first two sub-licensees. Profit Mentor is a Windows based financial analysis and forecasting tool used by businesses, accountants and consultants to evaluate financial performance and develop comprehensive long- and short-range forecasts of income statements, balance sheets and cash flow. WinCredit is based on the same software but is used by commercial banks and other credit sources to assist them in making lending decisions. The firm's training programs for businesses are designed to help owner and their key managers improve their financial management skills. The banker training programs are geared to assist bankers to develop and evaluate credit relationships; and its CPE training is designed to help CPAs improve their value-added consulting skills. These programs are typically sponsored by independent third parties such as banks, trade and professional associations, corporations and economic development agencies. Moss Adams has office located in Washington, Oregon and California.
