Graham & Dunn

Michael Tobiason has joined the Seattle law firm of Graham & Dunn as a shareholder and member of the corporate practice group. Tobiason will continue his practice in general corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, international business transactions and intellectual property licensing. Tobiason formerly worked for Price Waterhouse in public accounting.

CarrAmerica

CarrAmerica Realty Corp. announced its purchase of a 30-acre building site in suburban Portland for development of an office park. The project will be called Sunset Corporate Park. The property is in the Sunset Corridor area, at 229th Avenue and Evergreen Parkway. It will support development of eight two-story buildings totaling 444,000 square feet. Office or high-tech users are the expected tenants.

Ernie Moffet has been promoted to the position of vice president at Harris Group, Inc., where he will continue to hold his position as industry manager for the Seattle office. Moffett has been with the firm for nine years. Glenn Swaim has joined the Seattle office, where he will be responsible for facility engineering projects and client development. Swaim has 30 years of engineering experience in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, consumer manufacturing and general manufacturing fields.

AKB

Adina Prisecaru has joined AKB Engineers of Bellevue as a senior structural engineer. She has specialized in structural analysis and design involving steel, concrete, masonry and wood. She is currently at work on the Coho Cafe in Redmond and te Seattle Aquarium Sound to Mountain exhibit. Lorene A. Hansen has joined the staff of drafting technicians at AKB. Using AutoCAD 14, Hansen is currently working on the Washington State Liquor Control Board distribution center, the Washington Corrections Center in Shelton and Crown Books Retail in Redmond.

Siemens

Siemens Medical Systems Inc. has expanded its worldwide marketing team and appointed Marcus Kirchgeorg, M.D., as vice president of marketing and sales worldwide. Kirchgeorg was formerly director of marketing for Siemens Medical Engineering's Computer Tomography Group in Germany.

Oceantrawl Inc. and its affiliate The Fishin' Place recently moved their corporate headquarters to the Bell Street Pier Central Waterfront Complex on Pier 66 of Seattle's waterfront. Start getting ready for Tricipe VI
