Carlink Inc.

Carlink Inc. has named Mark Leffingwell to regional sales manager in the greater Seattle, Tacoma, and Everett metropolitan area. Leffingwell will lead the development of auto dealer participation on the Carlink Dealer Registry, and work with business that specialize in auto insurance, leasing, parts, and accessories who wish to build or upgrade web sites. Loerke Construction

A new construction team entered the Portland market this summer. The firm, Loerke Construction Group (LCG), was formed by three Northwest construction industry veterans -- Terry Loerke, Bruce Turner and Steve Jones. President Terry Loerke has over 28 years of industry experience, Turner has over 25 and Jones has over 15. Turner is in charge of estimating, pre-bid and general conditions review, value engineering, pre-construction services and subcontractor negotiations. Jones is using his expertise as a project manager for the company. The team is rounded out by Lydia Fleming, who is the company's marketing coordinator and executive assistant. She has over 12 years of experience. LCG is providing general construction, construction management, design-build and preconstruction services for high-technology, institutional, commercial and industrial projects. It has a bonding capacity of $150 million. The company also offers in-house civil engineering, mechanical, electrical and process engineering services. It is headquartered at: 16427 N.E. Matthew Snell joins Hart Crowser

The Seattle office of environmental and engineering consulting firm Hart Crowser has hired Matthew Snell as a senior remediation engineer. He has more than five years' experience in the design and implementation of remediation technologies. He has worked with landfill sites, contaminated soils and air emissions for such clients as the U.S. Navy, Hanford and Washington Natural Gas.

NeoPath, Inc.

NeoPath, Inc., a Redmond-based creator of visual intelligence technology to increase accuracy in complex medical testing, has initiated a search for a new president. Alan Nelson, current president and CEO, will become chairman of the board. Walter Robb has retired as chairman of the board but will continue to serve as director. Robert Bateman was promoted to vice president and chief financial officer. Bateman will replace William Scott, who will remain a director and serve as senior financial advisor. NeoPath recently obtained FDA approval for the AutoPap Primary Screening System, and is now focusing on emerging applications for core technology beyond cytology.

LCL

Four new employees have been brought on at Lease Crutcher Lewis. Guy Baryo has been added to the Information Technology Department, Marlys Henderson and Jesse Thompson have joined the Accounting Department, and Stephen Griep is a new executive assistant. Baryo will put his 12 years of experience to work to improve and maintain LCL's computer and communications systems. Henderson attended Seattle Central Community College, Thompson holds a degree from Quinnipiac College in Connecticut and Griep has experience in administration and property management.

BOORA

BOORA of Portland has added four new members to the staff. Tonia Hein is an interior designer for a multimillion dollar renovation and restoration of Seattle's Cinerama Theatre, a project for Vulcan Northwest Inc., the management company of Paul G. Allen. She is also providing interior design services for renovations at the Arlington Club in downtown Portland and various tenant improvements to Kaiser Permanente facilities in the Portland area. Dianne Kraus is interior designer for several projects, including a retail project in Canada, a new fitness center at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and renovation of Portland Public Schools' Blanchard Educational Service Center. Erik Matthews is working on two projects at the University of California, Santa Cruz: a 41,200-square-foot addition and renovation to the arts facilities and a new 12,500 square-foot fitness center. Michael Montagne joins BOORA's information services team as CAD manager for the 82-workstation firm. A registered architect in Oregon, Montagne practiced architecture for nine years before starting his own business a computer consultant.

Windermere Real Estate has added a new sales agent to its Bellingham-area offices. Roy Long Jr. recently joined the agency's Mount Baker office as a new sales associate. Long previously worked for Western Wireless Corp.
