Tim Zier has joined Farallon Consulting as general manager. Zier's 35 years of senior management experience includes serving as controller/business manager at Tandem Computers and CFO at Logitech. He founded Turn Off the TV, a Northwest retailer of games and educational products, and was in financial and operational consulting with Tatum Partners. Issaquah-based Farallon provides environmental consulting, with offices in Seattle and Bellingham.
Otak engineering, urban design, architecture and planning firm elected Nico Vanderhorst to the board of directors. Vanderhorst is a principal working out of the Kirkland office, where he leads the transportation and infrastructure team in Washington, Colorado and Arizona. He has been with Otak for 17 years.
