Seattle-based DCI Engineers hired Julie Reed as a payroll administrator, Terry Allen as a staff accountant and Spencer Boyle as a structural project engineer; and promoted Jami Parks to senior marketing coordinator. Reed has over 10 years of experience in payroll and accounting. She will also assist with employee benefits. Allen has more than 20 years of experience and will do billing cycle coordination and process the Seattle and Anchorage office billings. Boyle has been a DCI intern for a month. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in civil engineering from Washington State University. He is providing assistance on residential projects and construction support on Vulcan's Block 52e project in South Lake Union. Parks joined DCI in 2012 as a marketing coordinator. She has taken on more marketing responsibilities and is now also doing business development in Seattle and Alaska. DCI is a civil and structural consulting firm, with offices also in Spokane; Portland and Eugene, Ore.; San Diego, Irvine and San Francisco, Calif.; Austin, Texas; and Anchorage.

Seattle-based Bassetti Architects hired Linda Cameron as a senior architect in the Portland office. Cameron has 22 years of experience on projects that include K-12 schools, higher educational facilities, housing and community infrastructure. She is working on modernization of Roosevelt High School in Portland.

SCJ Alliance hired Dan Penrose as planning manager, Molly Linville as an environmental planner and Cathy McKay as senior marketing coordinator. Penrose has worked in state and municipal government for nearly 20 years, most recently as program manager for South Sound Military & Communities Partnership. Before that, he was a senior planner for Lakewood. Linville works in the Wenatchee office. She has over 10 years of experience as a wildlife biologist, eight with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and two with Landau Associates. McKay has worked in the architecture and engineering, local governmental and mass media markets. She is a Lacey planning commissioner. SCJ provides transportation planning and design, civil engineering, and land use/environmental planning.

Jordison

Sclater Architects hired Rick Jordison as a project manager and Brendan Bakey as a project manager/project architect. Jordison has over 18 years of experience managing transit-oriented and other developments. He has worked in the commercial, retail, residential and mixed-use sectors, and is working on the Lincoln Square retail expansion in Bellevue. Bakey has nine years of experience on office and retail projects, including Home Plate Center in Seattle. He provides support on Lincoln Square. Sclater is a Seattle architectural and planning firm.

HDJ Design Group

HDJ Design Group hired Rich Darland as the senior engineering manager in the Vancouver headquarters. Darland rejoins HDJ after nine years at a local engineering firm. He has over 22 years of experience designing and managing public infrastructure and private development projects in Washington and Oregon. HDJ is an engineering, planning, land survey and landscape architecture firm, with offices also in Pasco and Walla Walla.

Integrus Architecture hired Pepe Valle as a project designer, and Queena Yi and Jeff Matarrese as intern architects in its Seattle office. Valle has 10 years of architectural experience with firms in Arizona, Texas and Mexico, and has worked on K-12 and community center facilities. Yi is a recent University of Washington graduate who also studied at Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture in Denmark. Matarrese recently graduated from the University of Oregon. He has developed BIM models and done drafting for public, commercial and industrial clients. Integrus provides architectural, planning, interior design, structural engineering and security design services.

Pace Engineers hired Dave Schettler as senior project manager in its Wenatchee office. Schettler has more than 28 years of consulting engineering experience working on water and wastewater projects. Pace is a civil and structural engineering, planning, and surveying firm. It also has offices in Kirkland and Lake Oswego, Ore.

Trindera Engineering

Trindera Engineering hired Rebecca Greer as document control coordinator in the Spokane office and Aarin Morris as a software engineer in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Greer holds a master's in business administration from Florida Institute of Technology and a bachelor's in business management from the University of Phoenix. She was a manufacturing planner for Lockheed Martin in Florida. Morris has experience in control systems in the municipal, industrial, food processing, manufacturing and mining industries, and is a journeyman electrician. He was a process controls programmer at Irwin Research and Development in Yakima. Trindera is an electrical and control systems engineering and consulting firm.
