Northwest Kidney Centers, a nonprofit that provides 80 percent of the dialysis care in King and Clallam counties, named Louise Kato to a new position as patient quality of life services director, and Debra Marcella as clinical director, overseeing clinics on First Hill in Seattle, Enumclaw, SeaTac and Snoqualmie.

Kirkland-based Prepared Response has a new chief executive officer: Tobey Bryant. She has 15 years of experience in technology and education, and was a managing partner with Pioneer Venture Partners. Prepared Response's main product is Rapid Responder, which provides critical building and site information to first responders and facility administrators.

UW Tacoma

UW Tacoma named Dr. Melissa Lavitt executive vice chancellor for academic affairs. Lavitt will work with the faculty and administer the promotion and tenure process. She was at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

HomeStreet Bank has hired Gerhard Erdelji to lead investor relations, based in Seattle. He was with Sterne, Agee & Leach in Newport Beach, Calif.

Lane Powell

Jessica N. Yu has joined Lane Powell in the Business Practice Group, focusing on immigration and corporate law. Yu was a senior associate at Stokes Lawrence.

Town Hall Seattle

Town Hall Seattle said Katy Sewall has joined as program director and Daniel Atkinson is co-curator of Saturday Family Concerts. Sewall was a lead producer at KUOW. Atkinson is an ethnomusicologist with experience in programming, including with Northwest Folklife.

Association of Washington Business

The Association of Washington Business hired policy analyst and public policy expert Eric Lohnes as government affairs director for tax and fiscal policy. He has worked with the state Senate and Freedom Foundation.

Jordan Ramis

The Portland law firm Jordan Ramis added three new members: associate attorney Kristin French and paralegals Karine Gialella and Michelle Wilson. French focuses on land use and litigation. Gialella works on creditors' rights, bankruptcy and estate planning. Wilson assists employment, labor and ERISA attorneys.
