A wide Ipe wood boardwalk leads into the new UW Medicine complex from Republican Street. Clear light orbs are suspended invitingly overhead. The combination courtyard and walkway areas of the campus are open to the public.
Off the north side of Republican Street, between Ninth Avenue North and Eighth Avenue North, a wide-open boardwalk takes off into the heart of a new campus. Between the strikingly modern glass and steel walls, light globes hang invitingly.
