Green roads could be new market for contractors

  • UW professor Steve Muench, lead author of the Greenroads program, says roads are 15 years behind green buildings but are quickly catching up.

    The University of Washington and CH2M Hill have developed a new rating program called Greenroads that targets transportation. The goal is to do for roads what LEED has done for green buildings.
