Robotic kids help doctors sharpen their skills

    A robotic baby that cries and bleeds will be one of the faux patients medical teams will treat in Swedish Medical Center’s $1.6 million children’s surgical simulator.

    A $1.65 MILLION, high-technology construction project — the Gossman Center for Advanced Pediatric and Perinatal Simulation — will be launched soon at Swedish Medical Center. It will be the Pacific Northwest's first neonatal and pediatric treatment training center, complete with robotic patients.
