Turner turns a deeper shade of green
The contractor recently received a gold LEED rating on its renovated offices and is adding biodiesel trucks and providing bikes to employees to reduce its carbon footprint.
Many sustainable materials were used in the renovation of Turner’s offices, including certified wood, low-emitting finishes, and regionally extracted and manufactured materials.
WHEN IT CAME time for Turner Construction to fix up its offices in Seattle's Sodo district, the firm decided to go green.
