Purple and gold students fashion green walls

  • The Green Futures Lab at the University of Washington teamed with SolTerra Systems to design and build two living walls at Gould Hall.

    At Gould Hall, the living walls move on 30-foot tracks so they can be maintained from two balconies.

    University of Washington students helped design, got funding for and are overseeing installation of two living walls at Gould Hall on the Seattle campus. The project is finishing this week.
